My 4th stay here, but, the first stay by myself. The last time i was here was in 2019, sadly due to a bereavement, I bit the bullet and came back by myself. I was greeted warmly as usual, and had a really nice Studio Apartment, it had everything I needed and was spotlessly clean, a small balcony looked out to a sea view. Julia booked taxis for me to the ferry for Gozo and when I had to leave at 5.15 am for the airport the taxi was there waiting. Hopefully I will get back next year. My apartment was on the 4th floor, very clean and efficiant lift .It is close to lovely restaurants, La Stalla being my favourite, the shops and the bus station, and a few minutes walk to the sea front.

This is our third year staying at shamrock and we absolutely love it.. we have stayed at various other hotels/apartments over the years but now wouldn't stay anywhere other than shamrock.. it's very reasonably priced.. the apartments are clean and well maintained and the sunbathing area on the roof is great with a small pool to cool off... Julia and her family who manage the apartments are lovely people who do anything in their power to make your stay comfortable.overall it's a great place to holiday.. see you next year shamrock... much love 👊

I stayed 2 eeeks in a studio apartment but for the price i paid would have been cheaper to stay in a hotel with better facilities. The studio was budget type but lacks maintanence and some care. The studio was clean however some of the equipment like the fridge did not work properly. The bed was also very uncomfertable while the mattress has seen better days. The only good thing is location as very central however i wouldn’t stay here again in the future.

Recently returned for the 2nd time to these spotless clean apartments with very friendly management. I do not hesitate to recommend them. A great base to be able to explore all the island, with a main bus station just 5 mins down the road. [21 euros for a 24/7 bus pass] Just off tourist street Bugibba, and within a great for choice of restaurants to all taste. Shops and supermarket also within easy reach. A bit of a climb up to the front door but once inside lift to all floors. Well lit up at night. I will be returning and looking forward, in the future.

I loved the last time hence coming back but no room with a view this time..but sort of accepted that. I was on the balcony talking to a friend at 2200 and a thug came over my balcony threatened me. Luckily the stupid little idiot didnt frighten me but not a good look for your place. Violence is not a good look for your venue..

The check-in was very easy-just retrieving keys from a safe box for which you are given the code. You don't even have to meet or wait for anyone. The location is also perfect, a bit far from the main harbour towns of Valetta and Sliema (around 1 hr of bus drive) but very close to the sea and the main bus station at Bugibba from where you can get to basically everywhere. My studio apartment had everything one needs for a comfortable stay: all kitchen utensils and equipment incl. fridge, toaster and even a microwave plus a balcony with a view of the sea. I met the owner when I did my laundry and she is the sweetest lady! In addition, I needed to print some documents and asked them if they have suggestions for internet cafes or printing stations nearby. Instead they printed everything for me and delivered it to my door! How accommodating! Bugibba is also where the cruises leave so it was easy to just walk off to the starting points of the cruises. Bugibba also has plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes with a long promenade from where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. The prettiest bays, which for me were in the north and west parts of Malta, are also closer than from other tourist neighborhoods. The ferry terminal to Comino and Gozo are also in the northern coast of the island so it was not so far compared to when you're coming from Valetta.…

We stayed at Shamrock for over a month when my employer in the UK allowed everyone to work from home. Both me and my wife really enjoyed it and would stay here again without a doubt. The apartments are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is basic but good. The pool area on the roof is great. We used the winter long stay discount and paid £450 for 4 weeks plus electricity which ended up being around £30. Their wifi was brilliant and I could do my work comfortably online. The apartment is a 3 minute walk to some lovely seaside locations with small rocky beaches, 1 minute from tourist street with some awesome restaurants and supermarket, the bus station is also a couple of minutes away. I must say that the staff are incredible. Julia who was looking after us was so incredibly helpful, answered all our queries, just a fantastic person. When we needed to extend our stay, she helped us relocate to an available apartment, and was just there to help any time. Thank you!! …

I stayed here in Malta throughout the whole COVID-19 shut down and was so comfortable. The staff at shamrock was so accommodating and kind. I have to admit when I heard the airport was closing I got very scared and anxious. They let me do a long let stay and we’re able to work with me financially. They put me at ease and made me feel comfortable! The apartment was nice and clean and anything I needed or questions I had were promptly addressed. 6 minute walk to the bus station. Minutes to the sea, bars, restaurants and grocery stores. Would go back! I already miss it!

We booked the three bedroom flat with swimming pool for 13 nights with the last 14th night being in another flat. It is difficult for me to give a good review as we had one of the worst holidays we have ever had. The main reason was after over fifty holidays abroad we have never suffered from bites or illness. We all suffered from mosquito bites and I had over 100 bites on my body. The insects seemed to be attracted by the pool as every day I had to clean the pool of floating dead creatures. It may be unfair to blame the accommodation provider for this though. The flat was large for three people and was modern and well furnished. The kitchen was not brilliant due to the lack of utensils and facilities. We did plan to spend many evenings by the pool but due to poor facilities we went out most nights to eat. The flat was clean and very nice in many ways. The showers were dreadful. We spotted many cockroaches which we thought were attracted by the rubbish left just outside the apartment. The last night was horrendous. We were placed in a single room with shower and loo. There were three single beds for people of different sexes which is simply not acceptable. The accommodation does not look good in an area that is somewhat derelict. However it is less than 100 yards from Tourist Street which is the main street in Bugibba.…
