We arrived here at 12:30 just to leave our bags but to the owner it seemed like it was a massive problem because the check in is at 14 even though all we wanted to do was just to leave our stuff and go! The lady then proceeded to check us in even though it seemed to be a very...

So traveling Portugal mainly to surf at this time of the year, Peniche was the Mecca for me. I wanted something quite inexpensive and close to the beaches. PH was in a nice part of town nearby to the harbour and the back beach (supertubos). I stayed for two nights and was alone by myself, which was ideal. The owner...

A supercute little hostel in the heart of peniche. The owner is like a caring mum and helps you with everything. Great place for surfers and young people. Small rooms, but nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast is awesome, especially the bread! Feels very cosy and homely! Would love to come back!

Been here for a few times and it is always amzing. You walk in and feel like home. Surf lessons are awesome, too. Not to forget the nice staff, the cosy environment, the good breakfast (nothing extraordniray but everything you need for a day of surfing) and places to buy or eat food nearby. Best hostel ever.

Cozy Place in a good spot. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean. So were the bathroom and the well equiped kitchen. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they had a lot of good ideas and organized surf lessions as well.

You walk into the door and immediately feel at home. Warm light, the wooden floor creaking under your feet, people chatting on the big kitchen table.. the hostel really looks like a big apartment and with Xana as your host, it feels as if your staying with friends. Discussing last nights events at the breakfast table or socializing in the...
