A small family run hotel located in a picturesque white village with spectacular views over Zahara´s lake. We have a well known restaurant open everyday for lunch and dinner, serving local produce, the cuisine is rustic with innovative touches featuring local specialities such as wild boar, pork cheeks, paellas and in summer a wide array of fish. We also have vegetarian options, daily specials, home made desserts and an extensive wine cellar. In addition to our elegant dining room and lake facing terrace, Al Lago has a comfortable bar serving drinks, tapas and baked goods all day long. All our spacious, thoughtfully decorated en-suite double bedrooms have their own balcony large beds, flat-screen satellite TV, built in wardrobes and rain showers. There is free high speed wifi and a small sun terrace for hotel guests. We have free on road parking and access is by recently asphalted road. We are surrounded by fabulous walks with the Garganta Verde and many other hikes on our doorstep.

The location of the hotel is good for exploring the area. The village itself has a few restaurants, and there is a castle with amazing views if you don't mind the walk. Our room (#6) was spacious and nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and two French balconies from which we

We stayed here at the end of their season so we feared things could be a bit slow and tired, but we were positively surprised! The room with bed sofa for our kids was perfect. The food and service in the restaurant top notch. The locally sourced venison shockingly good and the

I cannot remember if the room had a safe. I had no fears about the loss of any valuable items.

In fine weather you would have no problem walking to the lake in sandals. However in this part of Spain it can rain, so it is advisable to take walking shoes and a waterproof jacket.

¿El parking es del hotel? ¿o se aparca en la calle donde haya hueco?
Lo siento pero no me alojé, sólo utilicé el restaurante y encontré lugar en el lateral de la carretera. De cualquier manera, mejor consultar directamente al hotel.
