The hotel is in a beautiful situation in a mountainous area and with a small fast-flowing river adjacent. The owner, Andy, and his staff made us ferl very welcome from the moment we arrived. Whilst the hotel is complying fully with the .Covid-19 requirements, the level of comfort everywhere was excellent. Our room, a junior suite, was very well furnished with comfortable beds, good armchairs, a lovely balcony with stunning views, and avery well appointed bathroom. The bar, lounge, and restaurant, particularly the terrace were delightful. The dinner, wines, and breakfast (including full cooked English breakfast) were all superb and the dinner represented outstanding value for money. There are lovely walks nearby and a visit to the Cuevas de Pelota is highly recommended (you must book in advance - the hotel will do this for you).

So when we first arrived and saw the reception I was disappointed! I wasn’t expecting an antiquated hotel. We were then taken to our room and it had been locked and so smelled a little damp and I wondered how long we would actually stay!

BUT it’s t was absolutely superb! Every single staff member was friendly, efficient and welcoming. The restaurant is OUT OF THIS WORLD good. We had amazing dinners and also booked a degustation evening which was really, really good.

The presentation of their meals is awesome and the food was tasty.

We enjoyed our cycle ride to Ronda which is a beautiful ride and a nice distance

The pool area is beautiful and plenty of loungers. Their gardens are lovely too.

Sitting out on the verandah in the evenings with the river roaring past you and ducks chasing each other is magical.

The room, although quite old, was exceptionally clean and aircon worked well, which was a bonus.

Andy was extremely helpful and helped us store our bikes with no worries.

We will definitely be back when next we come to Spain

This hotel is fantastic. The room quality, restaurant food, breakfast buffet, gardens, and service are top drawer. The staff clearly enjoy working there and management is obviously attentive to detail. Laundry service is provided and is quick and reasonably priced. Our room had two comfortable chairs. The rail station is minutes away on foot. Nice swimming pool. We couldn’t think of a single improvement.

El Molino de Santo is now open after a forced closure due to Covid. A unique place, an old water mill which began a different story in 1987 when its current owners began a journey to convert it into a small hotel, a piece of paradise hidden away in a small Andalusian village, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You will find an abundance of water flowing by the side of the mill all year round. A tiny microclimate hidden away in southern Spain. The accommodation is very comfortable, the facilities are excellent, the restaurant has a delicious array of dishes, something for every taste. The staff and owners are charming, the tranquility to be enjoyed. A place to visit for sure.

From calling to make the booking through to the extended check out the hotel could not have been more welcoming. We stayed on half board offer, the evening menu had plenty of choice and was of a good quality. The location is wonderful the stream running past the restaurant and swimming pool leads to the relaxing experience. The walk up to Cueva del Gato is easy and worth making the effort. Will be back.

A quick overnight get away for a birthday celebration. This hotel is one of Yumfizz's favourite hideaway hotels for R&R, as in relax and relax. This time we celebrated a birthday dinner and pushed the boat out with a Tasting Menu with wine pairing.
The Yum: Food at Molino has always been exemplary. They have a couple of set menu options as well as A La Carte and the Tasting Menu was equally delicious. We actually changed on of the courses and they were completely accommodating.
The Fizz: The wines were from the Ronda area and the vermouth from Sanlúcar was something a little different. All excellent choices.
The Rest: the setting at the bottom of mountains with the river running by, beautiful plants on the terraces and spanish finca ambience is just perfect. All enhanced by a warm welcome and impeccable service from the team - nothing is too much trouble for them. It's probably my 7th or 8th time there and definitely not the last. Big thank you to Marcos, Barbi, Víctor, Pauline, Inma and never forgetting Andy. See you again soon.

We had a lovely 6 night stay in this hotel. The most lovely setting, great swimming pool and gardens and really good food. The staff were very helpful and even managed to put on a 14 person dinner for us at very short notice.
We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying there.

We stayed for two nights based on recommendation of friends. Quaint hotel near ronda. Family feel and operated with love and care. The personalized experience was exceptional from before arriving and while visiting. The food was some of the very best on our trip. Good for walking although strenuous. Overall an excellent experience

Our first stay at this hotel but we will definitely be coming back. Amazing setting in a stunning part of Andalusia.
Apart from the amazing pool and a really comfortable room the real star was the food. The fillet steak I had was superb.
The breakfast was also a delight. I think having British owners means you get a broader variety of foods for breakfast.

We stayed in one of the rooms accessible by steep stairs on the right just as you enter. It had a great view and a large terrace. Very romantic and private.
