This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in, has been voted the most romantic in Spain. Set on many different levels, with beautiful gardens and stunning foliage, trees, and bushes. Spacious room and bathroom, no television, but didn't even realise at the time. The food a little disappointing, just average.

During a recent On Foot walking trip through the "white villages" of Andalucia, we paid a small upgrade to have an evening and dinner at Molino del Santo, modestly described as a nicer than usual B&B. Walking to it, downhill from the small white village of Montejaque, and through the industrial town of Benaojan, and then steeply down a valley...

The room was very comfortable; the living room extremely relaxing, warm and calm; the hotel's surrounding area is beautiful; the restaurant served lovely food; and most importantly all the staff were really attentive and helpful. Marvellous experience, which we want to repeat

We booked last minute for last day of our Andalusian tour. What a gem! Loved the drive from Jerez, through the mountains to this picturesque spot. Chosen for it's restaurant, nearness to Ronda and Malaga. Also because forecast was rain so wanted to sit in comfy lounge with log fire. Did not disappoint. Food was excellent both for evening meal...

We had a brilliant time. The railway station is only a short walk to the hotel which is beautifully set in the mountains. The proprietor was always helpful and nothing was too much trouble with directions, maps and local attractions. The rooms, gardens, and swimming pool are second to none, and the food was excellent.

We went only due to our usual hotel in the region being booked on the nights we required. What a great accidental find. Owned and hands on managed by a couple who have all the time for every guest. The staff are lovely and the grounds of the hotel beautifully maintained. The food is also top class.

My husband and I stayed here in October. It was great for our needs. We love walking and birdwatching and we could do both from our hotel. When we came back from our walk we enjoyed the pool and the gardens. The food was wonderful and the hotel was smart and clean. Best of all the staff were friendly, happy...

We had just come from a super hotel near Granada (see my other reviews) and thinking our standards had just risen but were delighted to find this (in Alistair Sawdays and Lonely Planet). A great place to relax, eat, as a base for great high siera walks.

We had booked a room for one night as a trip up from the coast with friends but after half an hour here decided we had to stay an extra night ,which the management managed to accommodate without any fuss. We loved the peaceful situation of the hotel situated beside the river with the mountains sheltering us. We really liked...
