Stayed here for one night after an event at the MB Stadium. Great location close to MB, CNN, etc. I was a bit leery given some of the negative reviews, but we had an amazing time, service, and cleanliness.

We stayed in the penthouse suite, which was gorgeous with three walls of windows overlooking various parts of the city and a beautiful bath tub. The room was very clean and housekeeping even made towel animals on our bed! The art was eclectic and provided some good conversation and laughs. The furnishings were super unique (velvet, textures, colors, etc).

The shower was AMAZING with dual rainfall shower heads and two walls of body jets. The towels were super fluffy and the toiletries smelled good (bamboo lemongrass). Housekeeping was quick with requests and everyone followed COVID protocols.

The best part of the trip was the receptionist, Cherry. Both my partner and I travel the world and we both agreed that she was one of the best hospitality professionals we've ever had: super friendly, professional, and really went out of her way to make a special touch. She deserves a raise and a promotion (else I'll hire her at my business)!

The only downfall was the food. Breakfast was boxed: mix of eggs, bacon, and a cold biscuit. There was no room service offered and hot food was only available between 4p-10p. For this caliber hotel, I expected better food options.

We also visited the rooftop bar: the bartenders weren't the friendliest, but the ambiance was nice and the views were gorgeous, especially at sunset. We enjoyed the acoustic music and ample seating.

Overall, I definitely recommend this as a small and unique place in the middle of the city. We will definitely return!

I’ve lived in the south for five years and travel to Atlanta regularly for entertainment purposes because let’s face it there’s not a lot to do in middle Georgia. I stayed at many of the Marriott properties in Atlanta but none of them offered me the customer service that I am used to getting elsewhere. That is until I stayed at the Glenn hotel. From the moment I walked in I was greeted so professionally And instantly felt at home. On many of their things you are told welcome home and this place really means that.

The hotel is immaculately kept and every effort has been made to increase social distancing and to offer hand sanitizer. The lobby has been decorated since the photos on most of the websites were taken and so have the rooms. The lobby is stylish and beautiful and the rooms are cozy, stylish, and have beautiful details from the gorgeous wallpaper to the little lion features that creep up everywhere around the hotel. The bathroom was kept very clean and the towels were soft. Unfortunately due to CovidI wasn’t able to try the restaurant for breakfast or dinner but I can’t wait to come back when it is open.

Whenever I walked into the hotel the staff treated me like an old friend and always offered to do anything I needed. This was such a nice touch but I don’t know what this establishment does differently than the other Marriott properties in the city, but I will say that this will be my future hotel for my Atlanta stays,

The Glenn Hotel is the place to be. Great customer service from the front desk all the way to the general manager. Housekeeping did an amazing job at servicing the rooms in a timely manger to ensure check in can happen. Can’t forget about the valet workers, who are the first ones I met, who smiled & greeted me with a such warm welcome.

I recommend this hotel to anyone trying to visit ATL.

If I could rate this as negative stars, I would have done so. I have been a Marriott preferred client for years. No longer. This could very well be my last stay at a Marriott property.
Upon check-in, we went to our 10th floor, $365/night room. The 10th floor had a musty smell but the room seemed fine. We were also told that there would not be daily service, we should just call if we needed anything. The next morning, we noticed that the shower door did not close properly and the bathroom floor was flooded after each shower. Rather rapidly used up all the towels. When leaving this morning, shared that there was an issue with the shower door. The woman at the desk was lovely, asked if we wanted it repaired. We said no, we were leaving the next day. Please just remove the soaking wet towels and bath mat and bring fresh towels an a new mat. Got home this evening to find the old towels sitting on the shower floor, no fresh anything in sight. Went down to the desk. The gentleman manning the desk was on his phone and had earbuds in. it was clearly an inconvenience for him to pause his activities, but he valiantly stopped his activities to rudely proclaim that my negative energy was imposing on his space. I shared the events of my stay at the hotel and asked for new towels and a bath mat. After several requests, he got me a pile of linen. I went back upstairs only to see that there was no bath mat. I brought my dripping wet towels back to the lobby and asked for the bath mat. Which I received after a 5 minute wait. He also refused to take the wet towels and suggested I drop them on the floor. Which I did at his request. Oh, he also shared that he was the manager.
So between the musty smell, which has to be mold, the utter disregard for client service and basic human decency, I really cannot recommend this hotel - stay away for your own good.

Worst hotel experience in many travels, including enjoyable stays at other autograph properties. We interacted with multiple staff who were not wearing face masks, which was slightly terrifying traveling from a city where Covid-19 is taken seriously.

We also booked a king room and were put in something the size of a postage stamp with a full bed that was clearly meant for one person. It was smaller than some of the NY shoeboxes. We arrived late and were too tired to care on the first night. When we raised it the next morning, the front desk clerk took my number and said they'd call when a king was available. By 2, we'd heard nothing. Went back to the desk, and a new staff member told my husband that because we'd "accepted" the room for a night, we were stuck with it. I've never heard this about any hotel room in my life. We went back after dinner to see if anything was available, and were told that our king booking was just a request and not guaranteed. At this point, I don't understand what we booked or didn't book, but what a ridiculous customer service experience. And I find it hard to believe there wasn't a single king bed made available all day. We booked directly with Marriott using a promotion and the reservation said King bed. I won't bother with Marriott for a while for risk of this happening.

We booked a high floor(8th or above) city view room - got put on the 4th floor 🙄. Was told there was breakfast every morning and I would receive certificates for free meals. I never got those, but assumed I could remedy that when we went downstairs the next day for breakfast. Nope, because there was NO ONE there. No one at the restaurant/bar area, no one at the lobby. We waiting around for 5 minutes or so and just left. The valet couldn’t figure out my car (a newer BMW) - I was seriously worried they were going to damage it. Then when we ran out of bathroom supplies, I couldn’t get a single person to answer the phone and had to go ask for what we needed. I really don’t understand how this could possibly be a Marriott brand hotel. We were dissatisfied the whole time we stayed there.

The ambience of the hotel is beautiful and the location is great….BUT they lacked communication when it came to reservations. My husband and I booked our trip 2 months in advance and paid a hefty amount for our trip and any accommodations. Upon arriving, we were told that there was a problem with our reservation and it appeared that we only paid for one night when we most definitely paid for 2 nights. No one called to confirm our reservations or get clarification so our security deposit was $500 due to something that was not our fault. They even put us in a smaller room that was not what we paid for. I forgot the front desk lady name but I do remember that she told me she’s from Alabama was really nice and professional at trying to understand the situation and figure out some sort of accommodation for us.

Not a family friendly hotel. We stayed because it was the Marriott property closest to the Georgia Aquarium. Most guests were business stayers, but I stayed with my wife and 5 year old. Problems for families: 1) two beds in room, each bed is full size not queen 2) breakfast is a box with no choice. It was eggs, bacon, potatoes. No menu. 3) There was luggage cart, but you weren't allowed to bring into elevator. You had to ask front desk to put in freight elevator. But there is no bellman. Kinda weird and not easy if you have kids and lots of luggage.

Also, the restaurant dinner menu wasn't kid friendly. The Sky Lounge which I thought had a good view was only open a couple of days a week, had private event or was 21 and older.

I might stay if location was convenient for work, but definitely not with family. I wish more reviews or even the hotel would highlight that.

The staff were courteous and accommodating. The room was spacious and elegant. It was within walking distance of many restaurants and the mart. Our dinner experience outside the hotel was awful, so we came back and ordered dinner for our room. Breakfast was disappointing with only box breakfast and they charged $3 for coffee even though we were guests.

Eric the Manager was amazing. Hotel was a nice change from the big hotels and the staff was amazing. The bar staff was so kind They were fast and always took good care of me I will stay here on my next trip to Atlanta. Housekeeping did a great job Love that there was water in the room at no charge
