I really loved the quaintness of this hostal. It is very small, reception is in a tiny corridor. The man who checked us in was very friendly, he did not speak English and we did not speak Spanish but we got by very well using our 'Charades' skills. The rooms with the views are at the front of the building...

The walls are little thin , but that's really all you can complain about. The room was clean & the staff was pleasant. WIFI is strong in the room. It's right in town, close to everything. There's free parking all around the property. It's a great value for the area. Would stay there again.

Wonderful place to stay with cosy, traditional furnishings. Excellent value, room very spacious and clean with lovely views across the mountains. Owners were friendly. Easy to find on the main street as you enter capiliera. No breakfast but there are cafes and a couple of shops. Quite a few decent restaurants for an evening meal. Parking is free anywhere in...

The balcony room was light filled with expansive views down to Bubion and uphill to the Capileria village. Though positioned on the edge of the town, fronting the main street it was reasonably quiet – traffic moves unrushed through Capileria. Balcony doors with double glazing, room whitewashed, honey coloured timber furniture, attractive fabrics add colour and a country feel. Comfortable...

Clean, quiet, comfortable. I booked last minute and it was a bargain. Very central and importantly very close to the Tourist Information centre where you need to book the bus to go up to Mulhacen mountain. The only improvement I would make is to have more information available to guests about the local area as the tourist information office has...

The hostel is basic but very clean and comfortable. The host is friendly and helpful. The price was very affordable. We booked the cheaper room at first but swapped to a room with mountain view for 4 euros more per night. Would love to come back and stay here again!

March was off-season in the mountains. So hostal, town, and everything around was quiet and very charming. Might be different in high season. Regardless, hostal was great. Very nice owner. Great view with balcony. Walking distance to everything. Including longer hikes to towns and the national park.

The hostal is a lovely place located just in front of the bus stop. It is conveniently near many eateries and shops (given that the town is pretty small!) The room is just like the photos, clean and big. I stayed alone in a twin bed room and found it very comfortable. The heater was working and the bathroom was...

Lovely stay in Capileira. Decent, clean hostel at a good price. Easy to walk straight from the hostel into town or down the hill to neighbouring villages. Not lots of walking information available from the hostel so worth taking your own maps if interested in walking. No breakfast available.

Very kind folks, with a very tidy hostal. The room was spotless and comfortable. We even ran into some car trouble and without asking, the owners jumped in and helped us out. I would DEFINITELY recommend staying here.
