Excellent hotel and wonderful and kind owners. We stayed for 2 nights and it had everything we needed. Good location at the bottom of the village, close to restaurants and shops and it is right across from the bus stop which is very convenient! Highly recommended!

Bedroom very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and a bath! This is a rural hotel which gives value for money. By accident we arrived at the start of the livestock festival, so we had three nights of noisy Spanish festivity, but earplugs sorted this. The couple who run this hotel are extremely friendly and any language barriers were...

After a very pleasant surprise finding this gem of a town, we then went and found this lovely restaurant to have our lunch, we wasn't disappointed either, after looking through the menu, which had a very good choice at very fair prices, both my husband and I settled on the menu del dia and we wasn't dissapointed either, good selection,...

Nice and friendly place. Very clean and risk for basically any needs. Unaided for a room with a bee and terrace to enjoy the morning better. And I was not disappointed for this price. However, I tried for my first time to book a room through tripadvisor and was forwarded to other sites. Now I don't want to give away...

Food is just too simplistic and centres around French fries, fried egg and ham. We also had a salty over cooked vegetable starter. Deserts are either ice cream sticks or melon. Service is slow with limited understanding of English. The view of the mountains is great though.

I see a few bad reviews but in my experience it was good value, clean and staff were helpful. I had a single room with en suite shower room with a verandah overlooking square with views of mountains and village. There is a bar and restaurant downstairs. The shop next door had best value goods as I compared prices with...

I just spent 5 nights at "Pepe Alavarez". I will definately return. Beautiful, immaculate rooms, warm, friendly service and a great location. My car broke down while there so I gave the car keys to Pepe to organise a mechanic, as I was out walking in the mountains every day. By the time I left my car was fixed, now...

We visited Trevelez last year on a day trip and decided that it would be well worth returning the next year to spend the night in the town and sample the famous jamon with a few jugs of tinto de verano. I sent an email in Spanish to the address on the website in February of this year requesting a...

Good value in the most touristy of the Las Alpujarras villages. Sr. Pepe Alvarez served us in the restaurant and then checked us in. Very efficient. The room was small, very clean, bathroom was gorgeous with impressive tile work. Balcony with place to hang our washed.clothes on a line.

Arrived without pre booking - not many places to stay up in the mountains but this hotel with restaurant was just perfect. Very reasonable price. Immaculately clean rooms. Quiet. No-one speaks English but all the staff were very helpful and friendly and fed and watered us well. Stunning view of the mountains and the valley from our room. Thoroughly recommended.
