All members of the staff are professional and friedly. A perfect stay. Parador-Building and the near old town of Puebla de Sanabria is worth for a visit. The Parador is ready with good technical equipment (computer, etc.). The kitchen and the restaurant-service leads to more than you need - it is very good.

Stayed here on a trip through Spain to Portugal, it's a really nice hotel, lovely rooms, great food, friendly staff. Loved the place and would happily recommend it to anyone. The town was very quaint and picturesque and easy walking distance from the hotel.

This parador sits in an amazing modern building full of light. Both our rooms were really comfortable and internet access throughout the hotel was great. Breakfast was also varied and plentiful. All in all this has the service and comfort of a parador but in a different, more modern setting.

This is a spacious new parador, very clean, with sufficient parking space. It is situated on the opposite side of the river and the walk into Puebla de Sanabria takes 10 - 15 Minutes, either bei road or via steep steps, but very nice.

Although not an old Parador it all worked very well. Parking is plentiful, reception was very friendly, it is a very light and airy building, our room was huge with excellent views of the castle, dinner was very good and well price at 26 Euros and breakfast was of the usual high Parador standard. The old town on the other...

A modern purpose built Parador at the foot of the old town fortress. Just across the river. All facilities are of the highest standard and the rooms really comfortable. Parking is secluded but not secure but the town is quiet. The old town had a few bars and restaurants which are lovely but be prepared for a big climb to...

First impressions were good. This hotel has a nice frontage with covered parking to the side. The hill town is very pretty and about 10 minutes walk. Rather downhill from there sadly. Reception is slow service and English is very limited. Our first room is rejected as it stunk of cigarettes, on asking to change they weren't that happy. The...

It's modern, easy to reach (right off the motorway), easy parking. We were not impressed with the town of Pueblo de Sanabria; there are much better and more scenic towns in Spain. Neither were we impressed with the Lake. It's a 25-min drive there and a 25-min drive on the return. The saving grace is their restaurant. Our dinner was...

We spent the last night of our holiday here and were very pleased with our choice. The Parador is easy to find and in a wonderful position near the river and looking onto Sanabria's 15th century castle. Our room was light, well furnished and spacious with a large window which you could open, looking onto the lovely view of the...

We have stayed here several times and have always enjoyed it. The staff are delightful and happy to chat. They don't get many foreigners who speak Spanish and so are proud to talk about their region and their Parador. They are always kind enough to give us our favourite room. On arrival we received a lovely "tratamiento Circulo", the welcome...
