The hotel is not as difficult to find as we had feared. The instructions provided with the email confirmation of our booking worked well but you do need to pay attention as the entry through the city walls is difficult to see. There is parking for 6 0r 7 cars next to the hotel which cannot be booke in advance... More

Faultless accommodation. Easy to book. Very helpful with only email contact. We were walking the Camino Primitivo and when we arrived everything was ready. The receptionist was helpful and very attentive later in evening as we sat in the bar where the receptionist covered the bar as well. Beautifully and quirky decorated old hotel. Was let down (and not the... More

This hotel is inside the walls of Lugo, the hotel has few rooms and they are very nice, comfortable and stylish. The breakfast offers many types of cheeses of Galicia and the personnel is very nice and proffesional.

This hotel is lovely and full of interesting things as well. The staff were helpful and very pleasant as well. The room large and with a nice view of the walls from the windows. We had no problem with noise. It also had a very nice bathroom though some instructions for the shower wouldn't go amiss, why is it that... More

A refurbished old palace (Pazo), it has continued its refurbishing and it is practically done, so we experienced NONE of the noise or construction sights mentioned by previous reports. I am sure that the following opportunities for improvements will be appreciated by management: safety bars to help with getting in and out of the bathtubs are, in my opinion, a... More

We often use this precious little hotel when leading our groups on the Camino de Santiago through Spanish Steps of Colorado. Great choice for Lugo. This hotel is in the heart of the tapas district, so food is plentiful, interesting and very tasty. They have parking, which is difficult to come by in Lugo.

I cannot speak more highly of the friendly and helpful staff, the comfort of the beds, the ambience and the decoration of the hotel and rooms and the superb breakfast. Situated in a quiet and beautiful walled city with civilised nightlife. Great place for a romantic city break. Feel like I should keep this place quiet!

The Hotel Pazo de Orban in Lugo is located in the historic centre of Lugo, just inside the Roman walls. It exudes history. The rooms and appointments are luxurious. The breakfast is fabulous. But what sets this hotel apart is the personalised service.
