Not central, but not too far to consider. Very clean, modern, and helpful staff. Breakfast was quite good and worth taking on. Very comfy-laundry service available but a bit off the Camino (uphill, too). GPS doesn't seem to want to find but locals will help you find.

You should also take-in the extensive breakfast while staying here. We had excellent views from our quiet 3rd floor room at the Pension Palas. A quick walk into town for a beer, or some excellent dining. Good stop!

We stayed here for one night during our Camino. Very close to all amenities but far enough away for a very good night's sleep. Very warm welcome on arrival and smooth check-in meant we were in our room in minutes. The room was modern and we'll enough appointed for what we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Camino.

Staff very accommodating. Got a big luggage full of clothes and it only cost E10 for their laundry service... Wash , dry and fold. Rooms/accommodations are very basic . Nothing fancy to brag about. Just what we need for the Camino. Breakfast is E5, with freshly squeezed orange juice. Not a lot of choices though. Just a very simple menu.

Triple room with 3 singles. Private batbroom was exceptionally well presented with toiletries and power shower, seemed newly outfitted. Staff friendly. Facilities to make own food under supervision! Breakfast €6 was very good with sweet cakes, toast, breads, cereals, hot chocolate, tea, coffee, freshly squeezed juice, fruit and no limit to amount. Rooms well presented and clean. About a 5-10...

This pension was a lovely resting point along the Camino. The receptionist was very nice and obliging and the rooms were very comfortable. The was no air conditioning but we opened the windows instead to allow cool air in. The pension is located far enough away from the main road so it's not to noisy at night. The breakfast was...

Today we arrived to Palas de Rei, to our surprise the town is very picturesque. The streets are like a maze with walking streets and stairs. The hotel is right on the Main Street very clean and illuminated. There is no air conditioner but Galician nights are always cool even in the middle of July. There is plenty of places...

We are on our 5th Camino so we are doing the "Pensión" tour! We still walk the 20-25 kilometers every day but we are done with the albergues! This place looked like an apartment building and the walls were paper thin. Reception ladies were very nice and let us use the computer to make our train reservations and print off...

While it is clean and decent sized, the bathroom had no shower door. The shower curtain was too short. So after a shower, the bathroom got flooded. What made it worse is that the blue tiles were slippery. Hence, it was really quite dangerous. The room was cold that night and the bed cover was too dusty to be used...
