Splendid butique hotel in a local style building, with rustical interior, inviting rooms and pleasent personnel. The setting ner the edge of a small valey is exceptional with great views, and very quiet. Beside enjoying the comfortable rooms one shoud treat himself with a delicious dinner- tastefull and in style. The personnel and the owner are very knowledgable and can suggest you where to go in the region. There is also a pool, a lovely garden and lots of organic grown treees, vegetables.

This is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Close to nature in the middle of Sierra Espuña. Perfect base for hiking or cycling. The hosts are very attentive and simple there for you. Enjoy the meals in the hotel as you won’t find any better food and wines within 20 km. Pure food from the orchard, mainly vegetarian (beside main dish) and excellent choice of wines. As is the breakfast. See the sunrise from your room and you know why you chose this hotel 💕

Unfortunately it took us a while to find the hotel, in a tiny village, as there were roads works and the 3 access roads to the hotel are small and steep so difficult to find on our satnav.

However, once there, we stayed in Room 7 which was an upstairs superior room. The entire hotel is immaculately clean, with beautiful toiletries, extremely comfortable beds and good quality linen and towels (including blue towels for the pool).

During the week, the only restaurant that was open was in the campsite where we enjoyed a lovely lunch.

In the evening, we ate at the hotel. €30 for a 5 course menu, which was absolutely delicious. They do serve fish as a main course, but the vegetarian cooking is so good that we would choose this as a main course.

4 night stay, really great place tucked away in the hills. Staff are really friendly and helpful and can suggest local places to visit. They also speak excellent English. Food is excellent, 5 course meals and the dining experience itself feels very intimate. Rooms big and airy with good views. Would definitely go again

A marvellous boutique hotel in Sierra Espuna. The rooms are spacious with floor heathing and views to the valley and sun. We stayed there for two nights and made a nice walking trip. There is a five course dinner available which was really a gourmet experience. Should have stayed longer in order to enjoy also the sauna, pool and the seats in the sun. We can warmly recommend this hotel.

I’m totally in love with this amazing place. We had a wonderful room with a fantastic bed and everything was just clean and fresh. The interior was so nice and just my taste.
We had a fantastic dinner and I think it’s worth a Michelin star. All that they could grow by themselves, was homegrown and homemade. We also had a wonderful breakfast the next day with fresh melon juice, home baked bread, ham, cheese and jam.
The staff was extremely nice and we did feel very welcome and relaxed in this place. A truly hidden treasures in the southern part of Spain.
If you like to be spoiled with, delicious food, nice surrounding and friendly staff - I do recommend this fabulous hotel.
We’ll be back next year for at least two days, on our way by car from Denmark to Málaga.

Great hospitality, wonderful room and superb food made for a fantastic six nights in this beautiful Hospederia. Andres and Pippa were fantastic hosts with help on walks and interesting places to visit. In the kitchen Lali produces amazing food - helped down by local wine. Effortless attention to detail enables guests to relax instantly. Highly recommended.

you have to get out of the cities and off the coast, into a small town like this to see what a country is about. This was probably our best Spain experience, staying in this little B&B in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by beauty and very well taken care of by our hosts. The dinner they cooked was second to none, great wine, great people. Very romantic.

I am in total agreement with all the previous ‘Excellent ‘ reviews. This is a blissful place to stay, we would love to return, and stay longer next time. It would be a great area for those who like walking or cycling.
We had dinner, with a lovely local wine ‘Sinesquema’, and breakfast served on the terrace enjoying the valley views. We visited in October but imagine that the Spring with all the blossom would be beautiful.
Well behaved dogs allowed too..... What could be better ?

Andres and family are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Comfortable "modern rustic" style building, cosy dining room with a different set menu every night and a good selection of wines (the relatively local rich red El Sequé was particularly good). Very well-planned sauna and relax area/solarium built out of the side of the rock and with a view up the ravine, and a swimming pool with a view.

The hotel has its own Wikiloc account with several local walks - this was very useful in helping us to find our way around.

We would be very happy to return!
