the worst place I've ever been to. We had booked a two-room apartment. The bedroom was dirty, the pool in the bathroom had rust on the tiles and the drainage.no sheets by the way. no towels, no nothing, you had to bring them with you. If you didn't know it, you had to go and buy ones. the bed had a cover on it, dirty and with hair all over it. the kitchen had some plates and some utensils but the drawers were dirty and dusty. 5 minutes away there was the village's centre with a few supermarkets and small restaurants. All in all a true disappointment. If you like a decent clean place, don't ever go there. When we complained about the dirty rooms, they told us the place had just changed hands and the new management didn't have time to check and arrange everything. But what's to arrange? Cleanliness? Don't think so. More

We booked this hotel as a stop-over on the road between Izmir and Ankara as we wanted to split the journey due to travelling with kids. The plan was to arrive early and depart late to get 2 sessions in the swimming pool which was kept as a surprise for the kids on the last night of a road-trip.

Our fun started when trying to find the hotel. The location in google maps and on booking.com shows it to be on the edge of Afyon (Afyonkarahisar) - this is incorrect, the hotel is in a thermal spling centre called Gazligol about 25km N of Afyon on the D665 road to Eskisehir. The only way we found this out was by spotting the information on the bill-board approaching Afyon. Gazligol would be a small farming village if not for some hot-springs - as such it now has numerous (probably too many) resort-style hotels etc mushrooming all over the place.

On arrival we found one guy who could help us check-in, the resort seems to be run more like a time-share complex than a hotel and I...
