Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The rooms were dirty There was dirt on the floor on day one still there day 13.You could not sit on the balcony as the air-conditioning unit was there and it was to hot to sit there even at night Staff were rude unhelpful even refused payment with cash as one note had a little rip in it.we had two apartments both had doors falling off tiles missing or broken. We would never recommend or go back to this aparthotel And would advise every one to stay away.

Just got back from 7 nights in Icmeler staying at the Sun Blue Apart Hotel and have to say the location is perfect. The plus sides are that the hotel is central to both the beach and the bars/restaurants so you only need to walk out the door and you are in the centre of it all within 2 minutes. But if you do want a "pool day" the pool is also well maintained with plenty of sun loungers, a bar and shade when you need it. You also get wi-fi in the bar area should you need it. For me, the only things that bring this hotel down are the cleaning and the attitude of the reception staff. Our room was fine to start with but after arriving on a (very) early Monday morning, they changed the bedding and towels on Wednesday, but never saw them again! It does say they only change sheets once in a week but I at least thought they would come in and brush/mop the floors, empty bins and change bath towels, but no they did not so had to shower with same towel for 5 days. And as for the reception guy, it clearly states to let them know if you want a late check out (4pm not 12pm) and pay the £25 charge. I asked to do this 3 times and kept being told to come back at different times to sort it - on check in when I paid for the safe and air con, then told ask later in the week, then finally to do it on the morning of check out. Then when my wife did go to pay, they refused to take credit card (despite using this for the air con and safe). I went back and challenged this and he immediately accepted card payment. Clearly has an issue with women - as I found a lot of people do in Turkey sadly. So, a great resort, a nice hotel but you may need to chase up some basic cleaning and hopefully you will have a better experience with the receptionist than we did.

Sun blue apartments are in a superb location. They are small but clean and tidy. The one issue I had was that when we arrived we were put into room 17 which was noisy but we're assured that we would get moved the next day and true to their word we got moved. Pool area is small but always plenty of beds food in sun blue is also very good ate in it a few times. Unfortunately we only got to stay 3 nights as we had to make our way back home for family emergency but Sun blue staff were great and refunded safe and Aircon money. I will return to these apartments as soon as I can please keep up your hard work thanks.

Arrived in the early hours and the receptionist was waiting for us and swiftly sorted keys and air conditioner, whilst showing me where the more or less onsite market was to get some beers. The pool was fantastic and the sunbeds very comfy. Free pool table as well. The Efes was cheap and most enjoyable. Milkshakes for the kids and the bar food was most delicious, especially the omelettes. The rooms are perfect, the beds firm, which was perfect and I had the best sleeps I’ve had for a long time. The heat was a factor and we just did the boat trip which I’d recommend. Relaxing at the pool was perfect though and relaxed to the max, which is what it’s about. 2 minutes walk to beach and restaurants and the food is great wherever you go. Florida is the cheapest we found, Pier 51 was probably the best food. Really missing the SunBlue apartments though. Sat on my work lunchtime writing this, thinking this time last week . This time two weeks ago we were getting ready to head to the airport. Thank you all at SunBlue.

We got to the hotel at 2am for a cheap 10 night getaway and the guy on reception was waiting for us to arrive, nothing was to much trouble, we paid £6 a night for aircon. We had days on the beach, days out and days round the pool. We met some amazing families. We didn't eat food at the hotel so can't comment on that. They always had great music playing and the booze was cheap as chips. Beds are a little hard but it's just somewhere to sleep, I can sleep on a washing line. Apartments are basic but again only somewhere to sleep. 2 minutes from the beach, 2 minutes from Majestic, Venice and the canal area. All in all I would go back if we could get it for the money we paid this time.

We went here to visit a friend who was staying here I feel sorry for him tbh. Upon arrival I was treated like I was going to rob the place if I’m honest. Staff was not very friendly at all at the bar and you had to wave your money at him to get his attention even though the bar is smaller than the Reseption desk and that’s tiny. Looks a cute place but managed by twins that seem to bully the staff and it shows then on how I was treated

Absolutely perfect location. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach and it's near the canal & a short walk to the centre of Icmeler. It is located just behind the Marti & near Fortuna Beach. Lovely and quiet. We arrived around 1 am and were quickly checked in by the friendly reception staff. We had a 1 bedroom apartment, room 3, on the ground floor which overlooked the pool. The room apartment was spacious enough for my family of 4. The main bedroom was very large with 2 wardrobes, 2 side units and a vanity table. The kids had 2 sofa beds in the main room & the wardrobe was big enough for them both to share as it had hanging space plus 3 shelves. they also had a side unit with a drawer which they shared then a further 2 side units for storage of their make up & hair tools. One of the cases was stored under the sofa bed & the other tucked away in the corner so they didn't take up any room. The kitchen did the job & i made quite a few breakfast and lunches using all the utensils the apartment had provided. Could there have been a bit more work space, yes but i managed and made do. I took a little bottle of washing up liquid & sponge to clean as i knew i would be cooking. There is a kettle so just remember to take some salt & sugar with you as well if you plan on cooking or have a cuppa. Rooms where cleaned twice a week however rubbish was collected on a daily basis and the cleaning staff were really friendly. The balcony has a little clothes dryer which was perfect for drying towels etc. The bathroom was extremely spacious much to my surprise and had ample storage for all your toiletries. The shower is the largest and one of the best i have had in an apartment! Air con was priced at £6 per day and a late check room was £25. Normal check out was 12pm but if you paid for the late check it out it was 4pm. This was perfect for us as it meant we only had 2 hours to wait for our transfer & we all got showered & changed. The safe was £15 per week. The pool area is lovely and there are lots of sunbeds. No one really went out to reserve a sunbed & we always managed to get one poolside even at 11am. The pool is only 5ft deep & we all enjoyed it especially the teenagers. There are steps to help you get in & out & there is a little kiddy pool too. The pool bar is really nice we had a few lunches there when i couldn't be bothered cooking. Reasonably priced too. There is a great little market attached & the staff are really nice. They sell eggs, milk crisps etc & lovely fresh bread everyday. We always went there for an ice-cream :-) Would definitely return as it was a great stay.
