After over 20 visits to Icmeler this was the first time we had stayed in the old town. The Sahin Palace made it well worth it .
I've never really understood the words made us part of the family till now , the staff were great , my kids are hastily looking when they can return .
The location is good , a taxi into the town is a couple of pounds if you have difficulty walking .
We stayed in the attic rooms which I thought were brilliant (husband will get over the concussion ) if you have trouble with stairs please request a lower ground and they will help you .
The pool area is clean and we had no problem with the beds .
We ate breakfast there most days and lunch as the kids loved the pool.
Myself and my son in law had the chateaubriand cooked for us by Faruk it was soooo good we had it twice . They made my fussy grandchildren their food just how we asked . WE WILL BE BACK

I have been lucky enough to visit Icmeler as a couple on many occasions but never to Sahin Palace, so I was a little apprehensive to be a solo traveller. I arrived at 5 a.m. and had a very warm reception, and was shown to my beautiful apartment on the ground floor just as I had previously requested. Everywhere is cleaned to a very high standard, fresh towels and bed linen every three days. The restaurant has an extremely varied menu and is reasonably priced. All my meals were delicious and obviously freshly prepared and expertly served by very friendly waiters who all go out of their way to make sure you have everything you require. Everyone is made to feel part of the family. This really is a fabulous place to stay. I can't wait to go back.

What a smashing place to stay!
This was our first visit to the Sahin Palace. What a little gem it is too. The patrons Robbie and Tuncer are lovely. The staff are great, they're friendly and very obliging and nothing you ask is too much for them. They're not pushy and over the top like in a lot of places. The food is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced, the hotel is very clean and tidy and the music in the restaurant is easy-listening and you can still hear yourselves speak which is a bit of a rarity in holiday resorts! To top it off - the bed is the most comfortable we've ever slept on whilst on holiday!
Go and stay there, you won't be disappointed!
Thank you guys. From Ayşe teyze and Dave. We will definitely be returning next year.

Hi just got back from Sahin Palace we stayed for 2 weeks, The rooms are fine we had a nice balcony overlooking the pool area. They are cleaned everyday and can not fault the cleanliness. . Around he pool area there are a lot of cracked tiles, but no bother getting a sunbed no matter what time of the day. The staff walk around checking to see if you have brought your water from the room and remind you to purchase drinks from the bar. The first week we seemed to be ignored by the restaurant staff as we ate out everyday as we like to spread our money around not just at the hotel. I had to have a word with the manager about this as we felt uncomfortable . The manager explained that they only get paid a percentage of the meals and drinks they serve and if the do not sell anything they do not get paid at all. This seemed to clear the matter up as after that they made us feel very welcome. I would stay here again as it is very clean and in a nice location also very quite around the pool area. I would rate it good but it does not give that option only very good or excellent that is why i have given it average. This is a honest review of our time at Sahin Palce.

We stayed at the Sahin palace as a group of 6, we found the staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly and they kept Mama entertained.
The room was of a good size with a great balcony, basic ( a toaster would of been handy) but the lovely cleaners kept them spotlessly clean with a regular change of sheets and towels.
The pool was great, perfect for cooling off and unlike some hotels we have stayed in never a fight for sunbeds.
Seen comments before we came regarding prices of bar/restaurant and whilst it was a little more expensive than outside of the hotel it wasn't obscene for example large beer was £3, cocktail £5, English breakfast £6.50 and the food was of good quality although we did find that it depended on which waiter served your cocktails whether it had much
alcohol in it or not. Overall we had a great holiday and would be more than happy to stay here in the future.

I've been to Turkey 7 times on holiday, this was my 2nd stay in Icemeler and my best. The apartments are not ultra new or modern But they are very clean with daily maid service. The pool and surrounding area is clean and well looked after. But what makes this place special is the staff and the food, both of which are excellent. The guys will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home, no hard sell, no trying to rip you off, just fair prices and a desire to make you holiday as good as it can be. The food is excellent and it doesn't go unnoticed if you leave your meal, so Robbie will ask why and then offer a solution/alternative. I will be back thats for sure. Resul, Faruk and the team are so friendly and helpful, just lovely guys.

The first few days of our holiday were good. We requested a ground floor room due to having 2 small children and a pram but the request camr through as non ground floor but they dealth with this quickly and the next morning moved us to a ground floor. We ate there a few times in our first couple days and the food was good, although a bit more expensive than in the centre but we didnt mind that. The problem started when my little girl spilt chocolate milk on the bed. The cleaners decided to not clean the sheets and instead throw them out and add 210 lira to our bill for them but didnt tell us. When were leaving the apartments that night my partner went to pay the bill for our drinks and dinner that day but instead of handing the paper bill over as usual he was just told the amount. This obviously seemed higher than what we were expecting to he asked to see the bill to be told they dont have it. Which was an obvious lie so he told them hed pay the bill later instead and then all of a sudden the bill appeared to which he saw the sheets added. This was trying to be sneaked through without us knowing. We questioned it to be told the cleaners couldnt get it out and it was stained. Im sorry but i would have been able to get milk out with a rinse in the shower if i had tried 🙄 i would understand if it was something like tattoo ink but milk is ridiculous! We checked with the owner of another apartments (where weve stayed previously) who told us that only 2 things stain the bed and milk isnt one of them and changing that much is ridiculous too. After them trying to sneak it onto the bill we decided we werent spending anymore money there and instead every day used the restaurant and pool and another apartments and just slept in the room and thats it. So they lost out on a few thousand lira for the sake of refusing to wash milk out of a bedsheet that a 2 year old spilt. Wont stay here again!

Stayed here for two weeks in Sept 22 i agree with all the nice comments about the staff they really do look after you. they could upgradethe rooms with taking out the two ring portable cooker and replacing them with a microwave and toaster and add WiFi. the food and drink was nice and reasonbly priced. the town centre is a 10 minute walk away but we got a taxi which cost 50 lira (£2.50) there are plenty of sunbeds and the pool area is always nice and clean. any questions please contact me. There is a bar round the corner called the The Bucket and highly recommend a visit. Jimmy and maxine (Turkish couple) and daughter Phuket are brilliant.

What a lovely find to discover the Sahin Palace. We have loved our stay there and would definitely go back. The food was absolutely incredible especially the ribs. Prices were very reasonable too.
Good aircon, big rooms and maids always made the towels into some sculpture 🤗
The main attraction is the staff. All absolutely lovely. Can’t do enough for you. Very attentive. No hassle or hard sell. Great senses of humour and very caring even towards one another 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

We stayed at the Sahin Palace apartments in August 2023.
As a family with 3 young children we thought the swimming pool and surrounding
tiled area was in need of maintenance as many of the tiles were missing and cracked making it dangerous for youngsters, the apartments were very clean but dated and need upgrading
When we ate at the restaurant we thought the food was delicious but expensive, leaving us to eat at the many other restaurants locally which were a lot cheaper.
On arrival we were informed that if we wanted air con it would cost £100 per apartment payable only in British pounds and they wouldn't accept card payments, this was an extra £300 for our 3 apartments ,an expense we had not been told about before our arrival .card payments were discouraged with the management wanting cash payments.

Although we enjoyed our holiday, we thought it was a very expensive place to stay, and will probably not stay there in the future.

I suggest you address your question directly to Sahin Palace via their Facebook page. There are rooms facing the pool, not sure about twin beds. There is a kettle but no toaster. You need to bring your own towels for the pool area. Hope this helps and you have a great time. The staff are lovely and you will be well looked after.
