All rooms are quite small, so you won't have much circulation space. However, twin bed rooms contain two beds (not over wide) with soft edges, whereas the double rooms have one large bed with a hard frame. The guests with the barked shins and scraped shins tend to be occupying the latter. There's adequate space to pass by and do what you have to, but you won't be lounging in the room. You can however always sit on the balcony, which is quite large and has a perspex (or whatever) front. Hope that this helps.
