First of all I would like to say we had a lovely stay big thanks to the boss Mr Kurk and his lovely Daughter and all the staff( apart from the manager / son which I will get to in a bit ) they were all lovely if you need anything they would sort it out for you but as for the manager he need to go on a mangers course all he can see is pound sighs . we arrived at 1.30 in the morning after a long day travelling all you want is to go to your room we had our temperature taken before going into the manager office where we handed our passport over and then we were ask if we would like air con and a safe which we said yes as it was very warm we were told this would be a 100 English pounds for 11 nights we ask could we pay in Turkish lira to which we were told No lovely I won't English pounds which I think is a bit cheeky and he wasnt that friendly think he need to learn how to talk to his customers after all we are paying his Bill's.

ROOM
Their are 2 blocks one facing the pool and the other is to the side of the pool which some of the apparments have views of the pool and some dont you get a view of the othe blocks wall . We were lucky and had a second floor room with a view of the pool but if you are unlucky to be on the ground floor then your view will be of the wall and some trees and if you have trouble with stairs then this place would be no good for you as their are no ramps . The rooms are very much in need of updating in our block the bathroom was very very small and we had no shower curtains when we got there and had to wait till the next day to get one which didn't fit so every time you had a shower the floor was soaking wet plus the room is very dated. the bedroom had 2 single beds with a bedside table between them and a small dressing table and a wardrobe. Their is a small kitchen/living room with everything you would need but we brought our own mugs and only used breakfast bowls and plates didn't cook anything on the 2 ring cooker top. Plus no TV which we were okay with . The room was keep clean but we only had our bed changed one's in 11 night and our towels changed 3 times if you wont them changed you have to place them on the floor . Our block was definitely smaller than the block facing the pool they bathroom and bedroom were definitely a bit bigger and had been refurbished at some time . but over all we were only sleeping in there but mr Kurk you definitely needs to put some money into your apartment .
FOOD /BAR
We had a couple of meals while we were staying at the kurk the cook is fantastic and the bar is open till the last person leaves and not bad prices but we payed everytime we got anything.

POOL
The pool is really nice and very relaxing never had any trouble getting a subbed even at 10oclock in morning you could still get a good sunbed so no need to get up early for your beds the pool area was kept very clean my only issue is that the pool is very deep no shallow end so if you are not a good swimmer then it might be a problem. Thank you all at Kurt apartmets for a lovely holiday .

We stayed at the Kurt Apartments in İçmeler for 15 days during the month of August and all i can say is that we really enjoyed our time in icmeler.

The apartments themselves are situated at the back of the old village, about a 10/15min walk to the centre and 20mins to the beach. As a family we took up 2 x 1 bedroom apartments in what is a 2 block setup. Normally we would book a 2 bed apartment but these apartments don’t have any or at least thats what we were told.

The rooms themselves are basic. They don’t have a TV or radio but do have most of the other bits required for a self catering stay. Personally, we didn’t mind the TV/radio thing because the apartments were clean and tidy, plus we are not a family that like to sit in the apartment for too long. Other people we spoke to, who had younger children and were situated on a lower floors were slightly disappointed with the lack of a TV/radio and the regular invasion of Ants, wasps and spiders they had.

The Pool area is of a reasonable size, it had a good few sun loungers but not enough to cover everyone who was staying in the apartments when full and as such on occasion, we were left looking for a spot which our family could fit into. On that note, id like to add that if your face fitted or you were a regular, then your towel was fine to be left out overnight but if that wasn’t the case then it was moved. The pool area itself can and does get full/busy very quickly when the apartments are full.

This is not a moan because we had a great time in icmeler. This is merely an honest review of the kurt apartments in our opinion.

The couple of things we can safely say that we are 100% disappointed in was;

1) The forever changing food and drink prices. (The manager seemed to decide the price at the end of every purchase/day)
2) Some of the staff seemed very sarcastic and pushy when it comes to eating at their establishment and whilst we acknowledge that its nice to support the apartments by eating in some nights (like we did), we also booked self catering so we could do what we wanted, when we wanted, where we wanted without feeling the need/guilt to stay in house every night. We honestly felt that if you didn’t eat or drink in the apartments they lost interest in you. As an example, every night when we left the apartments to go out for something to eat, the manager would always pull a chair out and try to guilt trip us into eating in their apartments which i think is wrong.
3) The air-con in our opinion was expensive @£42 a week which compared to other apartments in the area which were advertising it at £30/32/35. (We had 2 apartments for 15 nights which totalled £180 on air-con alone which was very much needed in those temperatures)

Overall, we had a great holiday in İçmeler but due to the reasons above, we will not be returning to these particular apartments. That being said, as a family, we wish them all the best going forward.

we stayed here in august 2022 and we loved it the staff were all so friendly and cared so much about us and made sure we were okay. the rooms were very cleaned and got cleaned nearly every day we had a problem with the light in the bathroom and they fixed it straight away. they had a barbecue one night we were there and it was amazing and had very good entertainment. while we were there they had 2 power cuts and the staff made sure we were all okay and had candles set up and knew what they were doing as i think it happens often. when we ate at the hotel the staff always brought us fresh fruit that they had picked there which was amazing. i would definitely stay here again as it lovely and quiet but not too far away for the busy parts and there is enough restaurants nearby the hotel and a supermarket. there was enough sun beds for everyone and didn’t have to fight for them and it was very very warm during the day but would 100% stay again

We stayed here for 3 weeks August /September and we will not be going back. The owner Mr Kurt was pleasant as was his daughter and staff but his son the manager was not. He was always looking over your shoulder when getting things out of the safe and looking in your bags when coming back with shopping and he didn't like it when we went on boat trip and didn't book his cousins boat. Our apartment was fine and kept clean by the lovely cleaner who changed our towels and bedding every couple of days. What surprised us was that in all the 3 weeks we were there the pool area and restaurant area were never cleaned we've been going to Turkey for over 20 years and we have never had this problem before especially at this difficult time. The food was nice but expensive and don't buy your bottles of water from there it costs double compared to the little shop on the corner, safe to say we will not be returning and have advised other people not to as well

This is the second time we have visited Kurts Aparts and have had great holidays both times they were quiet and relaxing ,the whole complex is spotless, the rooms are cleaned every day unles you say not to, Mehmet and Artan are very welcoming and so is all the staff, this is a very safe place to visit and stay during the covid 19 pandemic we felt 100% safe and would like to congratulate the Kurts on such a clean and safe enviroment they have achieved. will definatly be returning next year. Food and sevice is second to none and nothing is to much trouble and they will all go out of their way to help.

This is the cleanest apartment we have ever stayed in. The rooms are cleaned daily and the pool and sun loungers are also cleaned daily. The family are so friendly and helpful. However the prices for food and drinks are extremely expensive. Expect to pay 30 lira extra for your water than the local shop and drinks and food are 50 to 100 lira more per person than else where. It is such a shame as it’s a lovely place to stay but you are definitely going to get ripped off if you are not careful.

Had a 2 week stay here, emailed in advance and asked to be in rooms next to each other and they very kindly sorted for us. clean spacious rooms with big balcony overlooking the pool, beds comfy and bedding changed as every 2 or 3 day during our stay, towels changed 2 or 3 days. Had a Turkish breakfast here which was very nice. A very friendly family run the apartments, always greeted us with a hello and a smile, the owner was very chatty and his granddaughter was a please, about 3years old and learning English to charm the guests. About 20 mins walk from beach and 10 to 15mins to main dolphin square. Restaurants/bars close by. If you don’t want to walk only 20Lira in a taxi. We had a lovely relaxing stay.
Would stay again thank you Kurt Apartments.

Just come home from a trip to Kurt apartments for 11 days with my partner and it was great! The service at Kurts is second to none and they don’t hassle you which is good! The staff are all lovely and welcoming and the apartment was basic but had everything you needed for a self catering holiday, they were cleaned everyday and the cleaners were so friendly. The jacket potato is huge but so delicious. I would 100% recommend! Location isn’t as far from the main area like people make it out to be and the walk is lovely. Been to Kurts twice now and definitely am going back! With everything that is going on with the pandemic they are making sure safety is priority and I can 100% say I felt safe!

Just returned from Kurt apartments and I'm really disappointed. They are really basic, rooms need updating, no toaster, no hairdryer. Never stayed anywhere where you have to buy your own toilet roll. Pool area is fine. Mr Kurt is nice but his son is awful all he wants is your money. Over priced air com and safe, £30 late room charge but I refused and got it for £20. Had to move rooms as electric box bangs all night so no sleep. I'm surprised Jet2 use these apartments as when you tell people around the resort where you are staying there is never a positive word said. Would not go back nor recommend.

Spent 4 days here before leaving.

As you can see by the pictures I don’t think they knew how to clean or even check the standards before putting their guests in the rooms. Dirty doesn’t even cut it!

We had to bath my 1 year old boy in the kitchen sink as I was not putting him on that shower tray, disgusting!

Lack of staff, didn’t really bother with you, ordered a lemonade and got a total different drink.

The shower curtain was held onto the roof by a bungee cord, yet again brilliant…

We walked out on a morning for the day to use a different apartment and arrived back late on a night just to be away from the place, we didn’t want our holiday being put off by this place.
