L'Etoile Hotel garners praise for its cleanliness and prime location near the beach and local attractions, with guests often appreciative of the attentive service despite occasional reports of unhelpful staff. While the rooms are generally found to be tidy and in good condition, some visitors have expressed concerns over noise and problematic air conditioning. Opinions on the hotel's value and amenities are mixed; the food variety receives compliments, yet some find the entertainment and pool facilities lacking. The atmosphere can be marred for some by the repetitive music.

My partner and I have just returned from a great week here. We changed last minute due to C19. The hotel is spotless and all precautions were in place, much safer than at home! It was my first visit to Turkey and I loved it.
The room was nice but there are only 2 plug sockets next to the bed, you definitely need an extension lead even for the kettle.
The food is very basic and not much choice, could do with a rethink, that said there are lots of good restaurants close by which are great value.
You can’t find a better location for the beach it’s on the doorstep, lovely sunbeds with comfy cushions and umbrellas all free, some belong to the local bars and they serve drinks to you on the beach.
What really made our holiday was the staff at L’Etoile, Izzy and Furkan the entertainment team are great guys and do a great job despite being so restricted with C19. The bar and restaurant staff are so friendly and hard working, young Hassan AKA ‘Bobby’ never stops and he always has a big smile for everyone (behind his mask obviously). The reception team are lovely too, nothing is too much trouble. The only thing we didn’t like was seeing one of the mangers bullying young staff around the bar, you’re don’t need to speak Turkish to know he was being mean and leaving staff upset when they all work so hard to make your stay happy.
That said we are hoping to return to this hotel again because we had such a lovely week, thank you L’Etoile 👍😁

Stayed here 8 nights, on arrival my suitcase was fumigated, safe check-in luggage taken to room by staff. Hotel standards are great, very clean with sanitising stations throughout, temperature taken on entry into restaurant. Food is ok, edible but repetitive, I had a pool view room which was fab. Room 229. Cleaners cleaned my room everyday, they don’t move any of your items though for obvious reasons. The beach front is nice and quiet, all excursions up and running with restrictions.

Heading into marmaris will cost you 35 lira, bar street is closed for obvious reasons.

All in all an enjoyable, relaxing hotel, very safe!

In regards to entertainment they have poolside activities such as darts, bingo in an evening and a live band.

Enjoy my photos.

On day four at L'etoile and want to write a review for anyone thinking of coming this summer and may have read previous reviews. We had a holiday change due to quarantine rules in Spain so opted for Icmeler. We know the area very well and usually stay in self catering apartments but all inclusive suited us this summer due to our holiday change and budget. I must admit that we were a little unsure about all inclusive over the summer in Turkey as we love the local bars and restaurants. However, we really shouldn't have worried! The hotel is great. The pool is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and a private beach. Drinks are served from 10am until midnight at the pool bar, with beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks available. Having read past reviews, we expected to pay for the safe and wifi. However, both are free along with the air conditioning which works very well. All meals are good with snacks also served between meals. Staff have been friendly throughout and we are having a great time so far. We have also eaten in restaurants locally as we want to support them but everything at L'etoile is excellent.

I have just had 2 weeks at the Letoile and I must say it wasn't as good as I had read.On a good side the rooms were very clean fresh towels every day and toiletries the staff all really good nothing was too much trouble for them they work very hard for a pitifully small wage very long hours. The entertainment team try there best but are very limited as to what they do because of the pandemic. On a down side the food is not good it is not really put on for a western taste i had scrambled eggs on 2 occasions and on both it was cold i gave breakfast a miss after this for 12 days they need to remember we like food hot . On a pandemic side checks were done everyday and masks must be worn. If I was asked would I revisit the answer would be yes but I would ear out .

We arrived at the hotel around 3am after a long transfer, dropping off at 6 other hotels. We were met by the bellboy (sorry, can't remember his name.) The coach can't stop at the front door as the road is blocked off a few meters away. However we were helped with our cases to the reception and booking in was easy. We were offered a little biscuit (very dry) and taken to our room on the first floor. We were shown the safe in the wardrobe which is operated with a key instead of a code. The only coathangers were the ones left by previous guests, you may want to take extra. The room was quite basic and could do with upgrading. There are only two electrical outlets, so you may need an extention lead. Our room overlooked the pool and the road beyond, but there was no noise apart from the odd motorcyle. The hotel is spotless and the staff excellent. We only saw our maid once in the 10 days of our stay, but our room was cleaned every day as if by magic, fresh towels, bedding etc. The bathroom was on the small side with a walkin shower but it too was kept spotless.
The dining areas are well laid out, tables for two or four but the staff are more than happy to accomodate larger groups, pushing tables together. They would always serve water on arrival and drinks were offered. Often drinks would be offered as soon as we arrived! (wonder what that said about us) There is also an overflow dining area which was beginning to be used towards the end of our stay as the hotel got busier. The hot food was always hot and a good variety, chicken, fish pasta and lots of lovely fruit and desserts.
There is a good selection of drinks on offer, beer, wine and cocktails and no limit on how many you can get at one time.
There is an ice cream/ patisserie in the main area which is open and free from 2pm till 9pm, great for the little ones (and the big ones too) The pool area is kept clean with plenty sunbeds and parasols. The parasols were changed for prettier new ones but the slightest breeze blew them over. The entertainment team consisted of the lovely Maria and Mario who did their utmost to get everyone involved in crazy darts and water aerobics, great if that's your thing. Entertainment on the whole wasn't great, the usual childrens set then some local dance acts.
The location of the hotel is ideal both for nearby shops, restaurants and bars and also the beach. You can go from the back of the hotel, through the bar, Pier 15 and even stop for a drink. We took the water taxi across from here, to Marmaris, 200 lira each, which takes around 40mins and nice for a change. The only problem was the temperature hit 41 degrees that day so after a browse in the air conditioned bazars it was back on the bus!
We had a lovely holiday but don't think we would go back, simply because of the length of the transfer, over 2 hours and more if there are multiple drop offs.

Just back from 2 week stay here on my own and have nothing to complain about at all . Food and drink absolutely fine always something I liked with plenty of choice and so tasty too ,dread to think how much weight put on and unlike other times I’ve been not ill once ! Food was constantly being checked replenished and tested .You can eat or drink at attached Pier 15 restaurant if want to but no pressure at all to do so .Room was lovely gave me what I had requested everything you needed was included and cleaned daily ,always hot water and clean towels .Everwhere kept clean and tidy at all times, staff work so hard and long hours but always polite and friendly .Had an amazing spa package first day I got there which totally restored my faith in having a Turkish Bath as previous experience elsewhere was awful and swore never again.I had a lovely lady that did mine who made you feel so at ease and very good .You’d pay a lot more to stay at certain hotels nearby so for what I paid I’d say was an absolute bargain and would most definitely stay again ,thanks to everyone at L’etoile for a lovely break

The Hotel - Nice clean rooms but small Air con sounds like gale force winds in room and when on in room your balcony is red hot with warm air from air cons unit so u can’t sit out on it . The hair dryer is rubbish . The Fridge does not work ( most of the guests had this problem it took the hotel 4 days before they looked at it so we had no cold water and when they did it was still faulty .THE. ENTERTAINMENT omg three Turkish men put the same 5 songs on repeat about 10:30am they stand at edge of pool and do a gyrate to three of them one being the crazy frog all in Turkish they then disappear till 2:30pm come back play one pool game and that’s ya day done you are left with a repeat of turkish music in English songs you get Pink with F**k off lyrics and one Em and Em with more foul lyrics and Twist again . I am not a prude but this is a family hotel and I find it’s insulting to the English and all for the Turkish as it’s full of them I don’t t have small kids but there choice of song is wrong we asked could they change and put more upto date music on to be told sorry Internet is rubbish this is all we have ? . The evening entertainment says kids disco if you are a Turkish family then great but for English children good luck . They then play bingo at £5 a strip and the sales and money are split between the prize and the three entertainment lads get a cut they told us . They sold a football ticket and occupant of the room that won amazing wasn’t at pool to collect prize an it was room next to us but no one was in it again a lot of money made by these entertainment lads but did not add up and they don’t leave you alone they mither and mither for you to buy from them so be aware please . Our room was looking at another hotel and on arriving at 2:30 am we had request with our holiday company a room with a double bed and a room with twin beds as my son and my partners son we’re sharing a room they were given a double bed it again took three nights to sort out and the staff behind the desk were rude and did nothing to solve your problem until you have complained for days on end askunggem to just lies . The food I found ok some guests didn’t but we enjoyed it although we did eat out alot as-well . This hotel has only one bar the pool bar it doesn’t look the cleanest and the all inclusive drinks are minimal. The games room is big and has a bar that’s not used air con is not on in it either and the balls to pool tables are not full sets . So sorry guys when I looked at this hotel I was sold it but it’s nothing in the brochure/online I think the English travel companies Need to back there advertising up and send in mystery guests before advertising a load of bull to people who save all year to pay for a big let down and this hotel is one of them . ADVOID is my advice

So many people have too high expectations. The reviews on here moan about dated carpets and uniforms. I couldn't give a monkeys about that. I have just got back and had a great time!

The food was varied - so much food and also desserts coming out of your earholes. I love baklava and it was probably available every other day on average which was a shame.

We were an end room overlooking the sea so had a huge balcony (only the end rooms have this x25).

Negatives include they only give you one key card (sometimes awkward with 2 people) but this key card is needed to activate the air con and the fridge and electrics, so when you leave the room and remove the card, the fridge and air con turn off. This means coming back to a boiling hot room and hot water or aloe Vera which you had in the fridge. The key cards have a special sim in them so you can't just slot any card in to power the electrics like UK hotels, you have to use the key card they provide. We asked for a second key card and had a battle and were told to come back that evening 'to see if there were any spare'. (Just buy more for your customers?!). We went back that evening and got a 2nd key card. Sadly on day 5 of the holiday the cleaners removed the key card so we got back to a hot room and hot fridge again.

I didn't drink alcohol so can't comment on that but Pepsi max on draught was lovely. Shame that often you couldn't fill your own up, e.g. before 10am for breakfast and had to go to the bar which took longer.

Perhaps could have done with more entertainment. There was a weekly foam party and (roughly) daily darts game outside (difficult in the wind outdoors!) Apart from that there wasn't much entertainment - they could have had quiz nights or something. 9pm there was daily music with some kids music which was good for the little ones.

Overall I had a great time because the only thing I really wanted to do was sit in the sun and sunbathe and eat which we did loads of. The sunloungers were OK but you get sun from about 8am until 3pm (in August) then you have to move round the other side of the pool until 6pm if you want to avoid being in the shade.

Food times were
Breakfast 0730 until 1000
Lunch 1230 until 1400
Dinner 1900 until 2100

We only found out on the last day that they do serve food between 1400 and 1600 but its round the back (outside of the main restaurant). To be fair this was advertised on a sheet when we checked in but omitted to notice this.

Ice cream cones were available 1400 until 2100.

We visited this hotel for the first the and initially we were apprehensive due to a previous poor experience in afferent part of Turkey a few years prior to this holiday. We could not have been more satisfied with the hotel and staff. The food was good with entry of variety. Staff were fantastic and always willing 5o assist.
The hotel was spotless and the rooms were adequate for the 2 of us. We had a brilliant view of the pool and mountains.
Reception staff were always helpful.
Cleaners could not do enough for people and were always smiling.
The bar staff and all the staff really were fab and always helpful.
The activities were a bit poor during the day and a bit more variety would make it more entertaining and the evening entertainment was mainly karaoke and bingo with a few shows however this could be due to getting back on their feet after the 2 year COVID restrictions so hopefully this will improve for next season.
The activities staff were all fab and friendly.
The hotel is right near the beach, shops and it's not expensive to get a taxi into Marmaris and other places.
There's a lovely jewelry shop in the complex and a spa with fab staff.
The turle beach boat trip is worth going on as is the lazy day boat trip but take plenty sun screen as it's deceiving when it's windy.
Be careful if doing the mud bath as the hot spring, althoughnice and hot, it's also disgusting if it gets into your mouth...tastes like rotten eggs urgh!

We have already booked our next holiday at this hotel for May 2023. Can't wait to go.
Thank you to all staff for making our holiday a great one. Xxxx
