We stumbled across the red lion pub on a cold wet winters day What a find - roaring log fire, great surroundings, helpful happy staff The homemade food was fabulous Large selections of gins vodkas and real ale Highly recommended

Rather disappointed. Staff lovely, excellent breakfast. Room rather dated and shabby for price we paid. Meals and wine overpriced. Paid £7. 50 per night for our dog , don't really know why apart from thin bedding mat, use of a double plastic bowl and 4 small doggy biscuits. Took all our own dog's blankets etc. Won't be returning.

After spending a few hours walking along the glorious coast line, we decided to eat here at the Red Lion. In a nut shell all our boxes where ticked, great food, great choice, warm and excellent service with a smile, reasonably priced and good selection of beer and wines. Will be going back and hopefully and stay the night.

The best night stay at the end of a five star trip. Of all the hotels we stayed in this is the one I'd like to revisit. Room 19. Didn't even have a sea view (initially disappointed) , but the bed was so comfortable and everything perfect. No chipped paint or tired bedding. Had a little walk through dressing room....

This is the third time my partner and I have stayed at the red lion and as always it really and truly delivers the most wonderful service every time. We have a beautiful sea view in a room that we are used to now and will hopefully continue to come back to. The only downside this time is that we've...

I am part of a small group of friends who visit Cromer annually in early February. We enjoy one Friday night ‘on the town’ to celebrate the life of a close friend who died 7 years ago, a visit to his grave the next morning and then off to Norwich for a home game in his honour (as he was...

Advertises heavily so thought I would try it, not overly impressed, wasn't busy but still waited at lot longer than most places I have visited. Food okay but nothing special, portions average, had obviously sat on the pass a while as wasn't as hot as should of been.

You might think that going away in February is mad, or that you would find the place empty, but you would be srong on both. The Red Lion buzzes with people and atmosphere , it is probably down to good old fashioned hospitality and genuine friendlyness. We stayed in a sea view room( no14) which was immaculately clean and so...

I visited recently with my wife and daughter. The meal and beers were good, but our whole experience was spoilt by the loud, drunken, foul-mouthed group of 'football fans' they seem to allow to spoil the pub for everybody else. We are not alone, several of our friends have visited on other occasions and also had their visit ruined by...
