A charming bed and breakfast close to all that Cromer has to offer. The view of the sea and Cromer pier from our comfortable bedroom could not have been better. John and Jo make a first-class full-English breakfast served piping hot just right before a brisk walk on the beach. It is the kind of place where you can find... More

We have been staying at Western House for 20 years now at all times of year. John and Jo are great folks who will go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Having read some of the other reviews I have to say that some folks are being unreasonable. I say to then if you want the Ritz... More

We booked the Western as a last minute Saturday night break. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the owners who throughout our short stay were really friendly. The room was basic by fine for the money paid, it had a good selection on the tea tray and a small ensuite. The view from our room was amazing you... More

We stayed here in July 2014 and had a twin bedded room with a sea view to die for. I can only agree with other reviews regarding decor but this does not detract from being an excellent B&B. My only criticism would be regarding the lighting ( a dark room even in July) and the shower which was very difficult... More

this guest house may be a bit dated in the décor - but we had the room with a view of the sea and it's worth it. Breakfast was good honestly could not fault it, and the owners are friendly. Will book this guest house if staying in Cromer in the future.

Having arrived in Cromer without booking accommodation, the Western House was the first B&B I passed with vacancies. I popped in and Jo was more than helpful. Room 3 was available, though no sea view it was comfortable and clean. The dining room (in fact the whole house) is a quirky mix of china wares, fishing reels and memorabilia. Breakfast... More

The Western House occupies an elevated location overlooking the North Sea. As we were going to a concert on the pier it was perfect for a one night stay. Our room faced the sea with views of the pier. The room was OK but really needs some money spending on it especially decent secondary double glazing. Reasonably priced with friendly... More

“There are two rooms at the front of this B&B , right on the sea front, both with huge bay widows overlooking the pier and the beach. one has ensuite shower but share toilet however its well worth the inconvenience. If you can't get one of these gems there's a great ensuite at the back.”
