We visit the Welly fairly regularly when we're in Cromer and have always received good service and lovely food, but were very disappointed and quite annoyed on this occasion. We had hoped to have Sunday lunch and found a table in the bar (as they allow dogs in there) we were told that they'd stopped taking food orders to give... More

We stayed here for two nights whilst attending a wedding nearby. Cromer is a very friendly and family orientated traditional seaside town. The Wellington Hotel fits into the same bracket and although our room was directly above the bar area there was no problems with noise. The staff were polite and helpful and the room, which had been recently decorated... More

I was delighted with my choice of the Wellington Pub to stay in Cromer. The room was at the top of the pub, and involved a lot of windy up and down small spirally stairs, so not recommended for people with walking disability. The room had a delightful old iron fire place and wooden floors, wooden shuttered Windows and an... More

Third visit to Cromer but first time eating in the wellington hotel. Lovely summer weather so sat in the courtyard. Good choice of menu and specials. Average prices for the area £12.95 for mains seems to be going rate in Norfolk. Well presented food. Excellent quality. Made a mistake with missing on order via till but staff apologised and we... For an American who loves full-on English, the Wellington is a fun, up close stay in the middle of an old time British holiday town. Complete with a pier, beach, cliff walks, the Wellington Hotel is central and a close walk to everything. Enjoy a gourmet English breakfast and helpful, friendly staff at every turn-even the challenging stairs. Excellent value!... More

The hotel, well, the pub is well located one block back from the seafront and right in the centre of town. Our room was large if a bit dated but was well maintained. The shower room was small and the shower cubicle was quite tight for an adult. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we didn't notice any... More

The room was a nice decent size and was really nicely decorated and there was plenty of storage. Although above a pub it wasn't noisy at night, but if you have the window open you may get woken up by the locals chatting in the street in the morning! The breakfasts were really generous, although the service is a little... More

Being a local in Cromer, the Wellington Courtyard is Normally our first choice as a place to eat, today was yet again another delight on the taste buds ! Caesar Salad with Warmed Chicken and bacon, and the Crab Sandwich... Both meals absolutely superb, great amount of chicken and bacon in the salad and just the right amount of dressing.... More

Stayed here recently for a few nights and had the family room. Room was more than adequate for 2 adults and a 13 yr old. Very clean and comfy beds. Breakfast filled you up for the day and was cooked to order. Only thing is a wider choice of cereals and possibly some fresh fruit could have been available. Room... More
