We spent a great week at Pollaughan in September with our little boy. We had booked Fallow, but were very kindly offered an upgrade to Meadows which was fantastic - open plan, and with loads of space inside and out for a curious toddler to explore! The barn was comfortably furnished and extremely well equipped, with a great selection of children’s books and toys (with more in the barn outside to borrow for the garden). The weather was a mixed bag but our son loved being on the farm, especially watching the ducks from our garden and feeding the animals in the morning. We love this part of Cornwall and the location is great, with Portscatho and beautiful St Mawes in easy reach, and lots of good food and drink options nearby. The beach at Porthcurnick is a hilly 20 minute walk over fields (manageable with a baby carrier) or a very short drive. All in all, this is a perfect spot for a relaxed family holiday and I hope we’ll be back next year :)

My sister and I wanted to visit Pollaughan Holiday Cottages because our family (the Lobbs/Adams) had farmed here for over 150 years until 2001. We were thrilled with the accommodations which were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had everything a person would need to cook a meal. There was a hairdryer and a flat iron for those of us who need to primp and fluff even on vacation. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet. The walk to Portscatho was easy and quick, we did not have a car and walked everywhere. I especially loved the Welcome Cornish Tea. We don't have clotted cream in Canada so it was a major discovery! Fleur was a welcoming and warm hostess. We enjoyed chatting with her, her mother-in-law, and her children. I would definitely recommend Pollaughan Holiday Cottages for anyone visiting this area of beautiful Cornwall.

A fantastic few days at Pollaughan. Lovely, spotlessly clean facilities with a welcome food basket and bottle of bubbly! The kids loved the trip as usual, especially the animal feeding and room to fly the drone too! Thanks for making a really relaxing break away. We got lucky with the weather too and discovered the lovely custard tarts at nearby Tatums too! See you again Fleur and Stephen. Thank you! x

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Pollaughan Farm at the end of September. Thank you to Fleur, Doreen and Stephen for helping to make our week so memorable. Fallow Cottage had a lovely homely feel, was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. Our children loved discovering the cupboard full of toys in the lounge, which kept them busy all week, plus there were great ride-on toys they could borrow outside. One of Alfie and Jack's highlights was definitely helping to feed the animals each morning and collecting fresh eggs for breakfast. The sun shone for us, so we enjoyed exploring the beautiful Roseland Peninsula and visited numerous fantastic beaches, some within minutes of the farm. We also spent lovely days in Falmouth and at Trelissick Gardens. An extremely enjoyable week, made all the more special by such thoughtful and friendly hosts. We would highly recommend Pollaughan Farm and look forward to our return visit!

We stayed for a week as a family of 2 adults, 3 teenagers and a 6 year old. We stayed in Willows which was bright and clean and had more than enough room for 6 of us. The area was perfect for peace and quiet and a beautiful local beach only a 15 minute walk (5 minute bike) away. The well equipped kitchen was perfect for nights in and Tesco do deliver direct if you didn't want to make the 25 min drive to the Truro superstore. Our youngest loved getting up to feed the animals in the morning and the fresh eggs he bought back were delicious for breakfast. Other facilities on offer are a well maintained, full sized tennis court and a great play ground with 2 huge trampolines which the kids all had fun on. We can also recommend the delicious jams that were on sale at the entrance to the farm for £2 each. I can't recommend Pollaughan Cottages enough, the hosts were so friendly and and we are looking forward to our next stay.
