The Roseland is the kind of Cornwall you might have given up trying to find. To one side, sea views; to the other the creek, with its private quay and moorings. In between there's beauty and tranquility, pure and simple. Trewince is a 26 acre estate nestled in the southern tip of the Roseland peninsula in Cornwall. It contains a Georgian manor house, with sea views to one side and our woods and private quay to the other. The estate is surrounded by idyllic countryside and enjoys a prime position overlooking the English Channel. Being tucked away in the southerly tip of the Roseland affords us the all important peace and quiet that really makes the difference when you're on holiday. Throughout the grounds we have a selection of comfortable, well equipped holiday lodges where we welcome our guests. Although they all share a common construction and design, many have unique interior touches, which reflect their status as more than mere lodges and as genuinely welcoming homes. They all come fully furnished with all bed linen, duvets and pillows. Each kitchen has a cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, washer/drier, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and iron. The living areas all have access to either Freesat digital television or Sky. Each of our lodges is a comfortable, relaxing and inviting base from which to explore the estate, the Roseland and the entire county of Cornwall. These comfortable and cosy lodges. They each have three bedrooms and sleep a maximum of six. The master bedroom has a double bed and en suite bathroom. Two further bedrooms have twin single beds, and there is a separate family bathroom. The open plan living area includes a fully fitted kitchen and access to your very own deck at the front of the lodge. Our 13m indoor pool, opened in 2004, is a great attraction, with sauna and spa bath as well as children's splash pool. It uses the latest UV water treatment instead of the traditional chemical approach, so there are no "red eye" problems. The staff at Trewince live on site or locally and we pride ourselves on local knowledge and helping you to make the most of your holiday. If there's something you want to see, taste or experience we'll help you do it. If it's something we don't know about, then we'll find out. At Trewince, we focus on you - the guest.

We hired 2 adjacent lodges for the family and 2 dogs. The lodges were immaculate, clean and well appointed. The view from our lodge was stunning and the peaceful and tranquil nature of the site so relaxing. The facilities on site were great for the kids, the pool and the walks. The only small critisism was for the childrens play area which was a little sparse. Close by Porthcurnick Beach is a must, it allowed dogs, had the Hidden Hut for food and toilet facilities and the beach was clean and not too crowded if you get there early. The Vine which is a mile up the road is fantastic for food and its relaxed and unhurried atmosphere was a wonderful experience for the children and dogs. The Watch House in St Mawes is not a long drive but again wonderful food and will happily allow dogs. Our week at Trewince finished too quickly and I do not hesitate to recommend it to anyone wanting a break from the hustle an bustle.

Myself and family plus dog returned to Trewince for our annual holiday - this was our fifth consecutive visit. As usual the lodge was immaculately clean with everything you would need for a great stay, including a welcome basket with tea/coffee sachets, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. We had a lovely view across the fields to the sea and it was so quiet. There are some beautiful beaches close by and a little shop in Portscatho for every day essentials. We also made use of the visiting pizza van (Tuesday) and fish and chip van (Thursday). If you are looking for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle, then look no further you won't be disappointed! We hope to return again next year, for our 'Trewince fix'!

Perfect accommodation with wonderful views . Great walks close by . I would highly recommend especially if you enjoy peace and quiet. Lots to explore close by like st. Anthony’s head , st. Mawes , went across on king Harry ferry and visited Falmouth and Trebah gardens which was lovely and great on a hot day as plenty of shade and there’s even a beach you can go on . We visited st. just in rose lands church which has gorgeous views and is right on the waters edge . There is a tea room there which we didn’t go to as didn’t have time but I believe is meant to be very good . We walked to Towan beach from our accommodation and dog had a good run about on this dog friendly beach . After in the beach cafe we treated our selves to coffee and cakes which were excellent before our very steep climb back to the top .

This is a hidden gem on the Roseland coast. I stayed in Periwinkle the views were wonderful from the living room and the bedroom. Trewince is run so well and the site is spotless as well as the lodge. St Mawes is just down the road and a ferry hop away to Falmouth. Trelissick national trust gardens a short drive away using King Harry ferry. The local beach to the lodges is Towan which is approx 1.3 miles away. It is a steep walk down but you can drive down to the car park which is run by the national trust. A beautiful sandy beach and not visited by many people. I would HIGHLY recommend Trewince Lodges the best I have every stayed in.

My wife and I I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a 3 bedroom holiday lodge with views of the ocean.
The resort is well managed, peaceful and it felt safe both in terms of environment and Covid risk avoidance processes.
Henry and team made us feel welcome and provided helpful information to enjoy the resort and exploration of the surrounding area.

This was my sixth consecutive visit to Trewince and as always a relaxing time was had by all. There were four of us plus dog. The lodge was immaculately clean and very well stocked for a holiday. We used the swimming pool and jacuzzi numerous times. We ordered food in beforehand but also made use of the visiting woodfired pizza van and fish and chip van, both I must say were delicious. There are some lovely beaches close by, especially Towan just down the road. Parking National Trust and cafe. The site is so quiet and relaxing just right for a recharge! I hope to be back for a seventh visit next year all being well. Thank you again to all at Trewince!

I stayed for the Easter week at this beautiful location on the Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall. The lodge we stayed in was spacious and very clean with good furniture, comfy beds and everything we needed for our stay. We travelled out everyday and managed to enjoy a lot of local attractions around Truro. The staff were friendly and helpful. We even had a beautiful sea view from our lodge. I would hope to come again in the summer.

3rd visit to Trewince and we had just the best relaxing holiday again. The lodge lacked for nothing, Tesco deliver so food was sorted! Beautiful beaches and scenery surround you. And the pool was open and very efficiently managed in terms of booking. Really wish we were back there admiring the view from the balcony. We walked to the Place Ferry and sailed over to St Mawes, spent lazy days on the beach at beautiful Carne, feasted on a cream tea at Pendower, and bought fresh lobster from the Cugurrell farm shop. Thanks again for another superb holiday. An oasis of calm and tranquility.

My Wife found this on the internet and was immediately impressed.
The Lodge she chose (E28) was wonderful - everything was provided and all worked perfectly. They even supplied some milk, tea, coffee, Fairy liquid, kitchen roll and dishwasher tabs.
The location had lovely views over the bay from our upstairs bedroom. The lodge is not overlooked and was very quiet.
We have never stayed in a holiday let that was so clean; it was brilliant. We thought it was new but were told it was built in 1996. Very comfortable sofas and Freesat TV. Lots of DVDs to watch and a good selection of books and games.
There is a swimming pool, gym and Jacuzzi on site and all the staff we encountered were more than helpful.
The only very slight downside is the location, as it is on a peninsular - King Harry Ferry to the rescue!
This place is really hard to beat. Wonderful.

I have visited Trewince Lodges every year since I found the site in 2016 and it never fails to disappoint! We stayed this time in E47 which had just been refurbished and wow what a beautiful lodge it is. We had a lovely, relaxing week visited Trelissick across on the King Harry Ferry, St Mawes, Mevagissey and my favourite beach Towan just down the lane, where there is a lovely cafe to enjoy a coffee after a walk on the beach. Carne Beach is also a must to visit. I really didn't want to go home! Hope to see you all again in September, fingers crossed! Thanks again Trewince!

Hi,
Yes we charge a supplement of £25 per dog up to two dogs. This just helps us clean up after them. It is a very dog friendly site, bins and walk in the woods. Also local beaches and pubs are dog friendly.
You should contact the resort for an answer to that. There are quite a lot of cabins dotted around. Some are timeshare, others privately owned. I am not sure how they are allocated. I don't think any would be big enough for you all to stay in the same one.The best arrangement for your party would depend on the size of each family unit.
There are more places to choose from in the Portscatho area.
