What can I say about this amazing find in Somerset? We’ll be back.

After a long day of travelling we hoped that The Beeches would offer a comfortable, cosy spot for us to lay our weary heads.

The Beeches exceeded are expectations and more. A spacious room with a kingsize bed, sofa and a sparkling en-suite, it was outstanding.

Hubbie and I had been travelling for 8 hrs and needed somewhere to sleep. This was the perfect spot for us as it gave us everything we needed.

Steve and Mandy are exceptional hosts, recommending where to eat when we arrived as well the best breakfast. From continental to cooked the breakfast was first class, set in their beautiful dinning area.

There is a reason as to why The Beeches is 5*s. From the exceptional service to the amazing room, we definitely will be back.

My wife and I along with our two grandchildren (7 and 8) stayed at The Beeches for a couple of nights as a midway point for our summer break in Devon. It was the perfect location to spend a day at Cheddar Gorge a must (only 12mins away) and another day at the beach in Weston-Super-Mare (22mins). We had a large, lovely spotless room with a large queen bed and a double sofa bed. Both were pristine with fresh white linen and lovely and soft. A great nights sleep for sure, as we had to wake the grandkids which is unusual. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious (my vegan wife and vegetarian grandkids were well catered for). Congrats to Steve and Mandy for their culinary skills and their conscious effort to please. Genuine good natured folks with time to talk and share. A pleasure to stay and would highly recommend.

Discovering The Beeches, with Mandy & Steve as hosts, has been a great find. It ticks ALL the boxes for a B & B and they, literally, do go the extra mile because they are happy to provide transport to and from Bristol Airport - whatever time of day/night your flight happens to be; whilst leaving your car in their save hands. The rooms are always clean and very well presented, together with lovely white, crisp linen sheets/towels. The breakfasts are served to perfection and with a great choice. The fruit salad is my favourite - so fresh with plenty of different fruits. When planning holidays, it’s always great to know we have The Beeches as our ‘stop off’ in both directions. Mandy & Steve are very friendly hosts and provide a great service. We have no hesitation in recommending them 110%!!

We wanted an overnight stay as we were travelling from North Devon to Lichfield. We found The Beeches online and so pleased we did. Such a beautiful house. We were welcomed by Steve and shown to our room which was bright, modern and spotlessly clean with a fabulous view over the garden. The bed was big and extremely comfortable with lovely linen, so we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast next morning was delicious with a great selection of fruit, cereals and yogurts. The English breakfast was delicious and the ingredients were top quality also vegetarian sausages were available. Thank you for a lovely stay we will be back if we are in the area again.

This is a very comfortable B&B in a lovely area. Our room was clean, quiet, spacious, with unfussy decor and a lovely calm colour scheme. Our en suite was perfect and we had a most comfortable bed with well situated bedside lights, sockets and a sofa all making it easy to feel at home. Liz and Steve have the perfect balance of being welcoming and attentive hosts without being intrusive. Breakfasts were a real pleasure.

I stayed here on my Land's End - John o'Groats ride in July 2021. The owners, Mandy and Steve, are a very hospitable couple. The house is very well appointed. My room was very comfortable. The full English breakfast (preceded by fruit salad) was spot-on.

The host Steve welcomed us warmly and showed us to our room after explaining all the information we needed for our stay.
We were given an upgrade and the room was more than we could of asked for. The bed was comfortable and we had the top sheet that we asked for.
The en suite was compact but large enough to use.
The breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. There was fresh fruit salad, toast and a selection of cooked items. You give your order for the cooked items the night before.

What a fantastic service.
We were recommended by close friends about this beautiful B&B and although on this particular occasion we didn’t stay to enjoy the breakfast we were so incredibly grateful for the car transfer service to Bristol airport. Everything was very smooth from start to finish and Steve was amazing in his communication.
It was such a relief knowing we had a friendly face collecting us after our bumpy flight back !!
Thank you Steve so very much and look forward to staying with you both in the future. I can highly recommend The Beeches.
Very best wishes
Kerry

My husband and I booked to stay at The Beeches whilst away on business. Steve and Mandy couldnt have been more helpful and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door, a real 'home from home' experience. The B&B was extremely clean and comfortable and breakfast in the morning was exceptional. We wont hesitate to book again if we are down this way again. Thankyou!

Mandy and Steve were very accommodating and made us feel welcomed. The room and bathroom were well decorated, clean and had everything we needed. The B&B is right next to the Mendip activity centre so it’s a great place to stay and find things to do. Will come again
