Came here due to not having reservations at Mount Rainier on a Summer weekend (big mistake) and found one free spot in this campground. My uncle and I went here bz Cougar Rock on Mt. Rainier was full. This place is about 6 miles/ 12 minutes away from Mt. Rainier entrance. It is a smaller campground- which means less people making noise, yet very private with many trees all over. When you come here, bring baby wipes or a pot for some hot water...

we stayed at Big Creek campground July 2015 in a 20 ft trailer. I think this would be about the maximum size trailer/rv you could fit in this campground. Most spaces better suited for tent camping with space for one car. Nice secluded campground just a few miles from the entrance to Mt. Rainier, and the town of Ashford close...

The absolute best place to camp if you're going to Mt. Rainier! Big Creek is 6 miles from the Nisqually entrance of Mount Rainier National Park.
