Charles was very hospitable, room was comfortable and quiet and breakfast was great (full Irish breakfast and choice of fruit, yoghurt, cereals).

Charles went above and beyond however, by dropping me at the airport the following morning. Totally unexpected and a big help.

Fully recommend staying here and at £50 for a double room (single occupancy) including breakfast, great value for money

Upon arrival we were greeted by Charles who showed us to our room. It was spacious, warm and above all else, spotless! The bathroom had both a shower and a large bath, there were plenty of towels and although we were only there for a two night stay, the room was cleaned after the first night and coffee/tea etc stocked up too. It is situated on quite a busy road, but once inside you cannot hear the traffic at all, so not an issue. There was ample parking on site and Charles had useful hints and tips for places to visit. The cooked breakfast was lovely, served on a hot plate with ample tea/coffe/toast. Our visit exceeded our expectations and upon returning to Northern Ireland, we would be looking to stay here again. Thank you to Charles and the team for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable!

On our holiday in Northern Ireland, returning from magical north coast, in our way down to Belfast, we were looking for one night accommodation. Despite we’re not big fans of B&Bs, looking on Booking.com for hotels, something drew our attention to this particular host. Being just a stone throw to Belfast, we decided to give a try.
From first contact with the location and our host Charles, we knew that it’ll be special.
In short terms this is not an B&B (or country house), this location can be easily the rival of most 4/5* hotels. Indeed Keef Halla is a hidden gem. The quality and stylish is everywhere, cleanliness, discretion and the breakfast in the morning are fantastic.
The only regret is that we spent only one night here!
It was a excellent experience, and if we’ll be back at a point, definitely this will be the accommodation place.
Thanks Charles!

This was our 7th visit to Keef Halla and again exceeded our expectations. Charles is a perfect host who always goes the extra mile to ensure all his guests have an enjoyable stay and all their needs are met.
The rooms are spacious and are spotlessly clean. Complimentary water, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided daily and also a small dish of werthers original boiled sweets for your delectation!
Breakfast is a range of hot and cold foods, all freshly prepared and cooked to order, served up in a bright and airy conservatory with freshly laundered table cloths and napkins.
We can’t recommend this country house highly enough, both Charles and Lorraine ( housekeeper extraordinaire),
for making us feel so welcome and looking after us so well.

This is a great hotel, minutes away from Belfast International Airport by car, but also a good base from which to explore Belfast and the surrounding areas. It has all the usual amenities such as wi-fi, free on-site parking, complimentary tea / coffee / water, television etc. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious too. The host was very knowledgeable about the local area (I had a great dinner at Spice, and enjoyed the Antrim Parkrun thanks to him) and very welcoming. Excellent value for the price. I'd happily stay here again next time I'm in Belfast.

We booked this at the last minute instead of a one night stay in Belfast city. The cost of the Uber ride to and from the city airport made this a preferable place to stay than downtown.

Although we arrived at 21:45, our host, Charles, met us, showed us our rooms and explained their features, and then got us a couple of Guiness beers. We sat in the comfortable sitting room and enjoyed those beers after a 25 h journey from SFO.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the beds were comfortable, and we each slept soundly. The internet worked well.

We were offered a full cooked breakfast, but the granola, berries, and yoghurt were sufficient for me.

What struck me is how spotlessly clean everywhere was and the high quality of construction and decoration.

This was our first visit to Keef Halla, though members of my extended family have been visiting for years, so I knew they must be doing something right.
Maybe it is the huge breakfast, prepared to each guests’s requirements, with endless toast? Or maybe the comfortable bedrooms, clean, and modern (ours was family sized, for me, husband and son, with my parents also staying at the property) or the huge rainfall shower?
The location is excellent, seemingly just about 20 minutes from anywhere we wanted to be (and handy for the airport) and there’s plenty of parking too.
Or maybe it was simply the craic?
Lorraine and the team managed to combine the comfort and quality of a five star hotel, at the same time as making us feel like we were visiting the home of old friends - no mean feat!
Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Keef Halla Country House was like a home away from home. The room was immaculate and so toasty.
The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom with the free stanfing bath was a great extra.
Charles was a very gracious host and there when we needed him. The breakfast was gorgeous! It was all in all a great stay. We will definitely be back.

I booked into Keef Halla on Saturday 19th February. I was picked up at the airport by Charles and taken to what I can only describe as the best accommodation I have stayed in for many years.
It was indeed far and away the best.
Both the room and the breakfast were excellent and I hope to be a regular user of this wonderful country house

I usually shy away from b&b type lodgings but I took a chance with Keef Halla and it was just fabulous. The owner is a star and nothing was too much trouble during my stay. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. The team at breakfast were really accommodating of my unusual breakfast preferences and it was lovely to just sit and watch the world go by while having breakfast in the breakfast room. I don’t know if I’ll be in the area again any time soon but if I am I’d 100% return here.

Hi, check out normally is 11.00am, and check in from noon onwards. However if guests check out early, then check in can be moved forward. Best thing to do is to give us a call.
