Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was no doubt our best hotel experience in Scotland. Rooms are simple but extremely clean, and the owners will do anything to make your stay a happy one. Very generous hospitality, and a great breakfast to start the day with. Thank you June and her daughter (Barbara?) for making our stay a memorable one! Carmit, Guy and Agam!

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Comrie. We stayed in one of the ‘garden rooms’ (separate from the main hotel) which had its own entrance to easily access the carpark. It was very quiet, scrupulously clean, and everything was provided that we could possibly need. The owner and her daughter could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. They were on hand to help with anything, without being intrusive. The breakfasts were delicious, so beautifully prepared, with so much choice. The hotel carpark is large and easy to access. The hotel is right on the route of the ‘Glen Lednock Circular’ walk, which is a lovely walk from Comrie, via wooded glens, hillsides and forest. The hotel is perfectly placed for visiting Perthshire, with beautiful countryside and scenic drives all around.

The hotel was really lovely. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. My partner and I arrived much earlier than anticipated in order to climb Ben Chonzie and we were allowed to check-in straight away. The room was nice and comfortable and had all the amenities you would want. They even brought the takeaway we had ordered up to the room for us! The hotel was nice and quiet in the evening and we got a great sleep. In the morning, we were treated to such a wonderful breakfast (and sent on our way with a box of the best strawberries I've ever tasted). Thank you for everything, and we'd recommend you in a heartbeat.

I recently stayed a night at the Comrie Hotel and the lovely lady running the hotel (possibly owner) couldn't have been more accommodating to my dietary requirements. The hotel was lovely, very clean, brilliant location and breakfast was fab. Definitely recommend, and will definitely return.

My partner and I arrived early on Saturday evening. We were greeted and shown to our rooms by Tim. Rooms were spotless with clean looking décor. Tea coffee making facilities were present along with some delicious oat and raisin cookies – they deserve a special mention! We enjoyed a fantastic evening in the hotel bar sharing stories with locals and fellow passers-by, and Tim, who was a wonderful host, looked after us the whole evening. The real surprise was the breakfast – I have never seen such a clean looking ‘full Scottish Breakfast’ in all of my days. Absolutely no greasy spoon here and it is clear that they take pride in fresh tasting, locally sourced, produce – my hat is off the chef! This is a fantastic little hotel in an absolutely jaw-dropping part of the Country. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Arrived late afternoon to a very warm welcome. We had stayed before some years back, but under new ownership, the transformation was instantly evident. Fresh and pleasing decor in the breakfast and dining rooms. Food first class,(thank you Chef) and a great atmosphere in the bar from both staff (thanks Ian) and locals. Bedrooms also refurbished to a high standard. Comfortable and spotlessly clean. Selection of biscuits with the tea and coffee available in each room.(Holiday Inn should note!). Need I say any more! A must if visiting Comrie.

We, as a party of four, enjoyed dinner, bed and breakfast here last weekend. There was a good welcome on our arrival and we, both couples, found our rooms to be pleasantly presented, fresh and warm. Indeed, there was definitely attention to detail that demonstrated thoughtfulness for comfort and enjoyment. There was a friendly atmosphere in the bar from the hostess, the locals and the staff. Dinner was hearty, tasty and served in a pleasant dining area. After a comfortable night, we were offered a great breakfast menu which satisfied us well. We can only thank June, Iain and Tim for their delightful manner and service. As evident, would highly recommend this, value for money, cheery, hotel.

We stopped off for a coffee but ended up having a fantastic lunch. The family hotel was lovely, clean and modern and the lady serving us was very pleasant and knowledgeable on the local area. We had some delicious food before heading off to explore Comrie.
