Stayed here overnight for a family wedding on 21/05/2017. Very nice hotel good food at the wedding and breakfast the following morning. Staff were all very pleasant and worked hard. The grounds of the hotel are lovely and there are some wooded walks from the door. Plenty of parking spaces as well. We were in room 7 which was a...

The hotel is a superb 19th century building with an interesting history in a beautiful setting by the majestic river Clyde. The local geology is fascinating , related to the tectonic scientific record of the closure of the Iapetus Ocean. The hotel stair carpet is badly worn, the dining room menu relies heavily on frozen ingredients and the cucumber is...

A grand old building in a beautiful and quiet surrounding. Our room was exquisitely furnished. The staff were professional and courteous. The service both at check-in and checkout as well as in the dining room was excellent. The food was very good. I would highly recommend a stay at Cornhill Castle.

There is no doubt this is a beautiful place, the rooms have had as much attention lavished on them as the public rooms, which is a huge bonus. The staff are friendly, helpful and pleasant. So why not 5 stars? Sadly the food and service in the restraunt/breakfast was not up to par. The evening meal whilst looking delicious, was...

We were only there for one evening attending a wedding at a nearby venue, the service was exceptional, staff couldn't do enough for us and the room was outstanding. Will definitely recommend and hopefully visit again soon.

Wonderful castle hotel to visit. Staff were excellent. Food was perfect. The room was magnificent. Walking in the grounds is a real pleasure. Try their nature walk....it's short but look and listen. You can go further if you walk down the drive to the river. A perfect stay.

We came here today for a late lunch, arrived at 2pm our order was taking 40 minutes later! Food was fine, smaller portions, used to get a bread roll offered to eat prior to your meal, not now. Its just not the same quality as with the previous owners! The girl that served us was pleasant. Won't be back for...

We had a fantastic overnight stay at Cornhill Castle on Saturday. The staff could not have been more friendly or welcoming. The room was perfectly situated with views over the castle grounds and countryside. Our evening meal was good and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. There's a real intimate feeling at this hotel, with a very relaxed atmosphere, which...
