We went in September. The weather was perfect, not to hot and not at all cold. We sat outside at night without jackets. Beautiful place and Ron and Leslie are the most amazing hosts. I don't remember the price exactly of the Duke Room but if you go to there web site the price will be there. All rooms are great, Duke is the largest I do believe. I would consider in season during the spring-summer. I think later fall -winter is off season. Most of the time the web site will tell you that as well. I hope this helps. You will have a wonderful time!!! Debby
