This place is absolutly unic in the world and is worthing more than a visit. We stayed recently in The Dome, a big room. It was not our first stay and not the last either. The fantasy fairytale style village was the inspiration of one of the most iconic Tv series : The Prisoner. The location is stunning in the... More

Stayed here for two nights and ate at the hotel on the first night. First impression was smart, and very up market, however as the evening progressed, we did not feel at all relaxed. There was no atmosphere, no music, only food served to a high standard and some very unusual and nice tastes, but very austere and couldn't wait... More

Our room was beautiful with views of the estuary ( Rm 6 ) Lovely en-suite bathroom. We had dinner booked for 17people and it did not dissapoint ( the chef is fantastic ). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We had a lovely walk around the grounds next morning, really nice gardens.

We had a two night break in November and stayed in Neptune !, which is a double room in the heart of the village. The room is above a small coffee shop and so quiet as you would expect for November. Not sure what it would be like in the middle of the summer though. We just loved the room,... More

The staff were fantastic as was the food, the location and the general ambience. The harp player while waiting for dinner was the icing on the cake. No doubt we will be back for along weekend break. And once the food is paid for the room is actually free. A bargain

Booked a room last minute and so glad I did. We arrived around 1pm although the room wasn't ready we were able to visit the village and explore. The main hotel is closed so all services are from the Castle which wasn't a problem at all as the offer to carriage you back and forth was offered however we chose... More

We had House 4 in the hotel a room overlooking the sea at the front and the village to the side. What a fantastic welcome from Dave at the toll house this was repeated at the hotel. Everything we wanted in the room and more. The food in the evening was delicious and we've visited many four and five star... More

Great Hotel. Accommodation in The Village. The village is what it is all about. What vision of Williams-Ellis. Planners would never agree to it today. Local walks in woodland and coast superb. In fact never realised this place was all hotel. The hotel food was excellent both a la cart and taxing menu
