From the moment we arrived greeted by the manager to take us to our table, until the time we left (five hours later) every single member of the team could not have done anything more to make our visit truly INCREDIBLE 🥰. I booked a spa package with lunch as a surprise for my daughter’s 25th birthday. The quality of the food was outstanding (Big shout out to the Chef) with attentive, warm, humorous and professional service by Agnes and the team. The spa facilities and treatments were of equal outstanding quality with a warm welcome from Roberta at reception and the two amazing therapists Katie and Estelle. We cannot wait to go back and also try Sunday roast. Already know what I’m buying for Christmas presents (spa vouchers for family and friends). We had our small (30) guests wedding here at the end of October. This was a fabulous experience from beginning to end. The organisation was superb and Klaudia the events manager made the day run so smoothly assisted by all the staff. From the set up of the venue to the fabulous food, the beautiful bedrooms it was all perfect and we couldn’t have been happier. From the planning stage in April to the event in October Klaudia kept in touch and had all the details covered which included so many things we hadn’t thought of. I would thoroughly recommend Holm House for an event, a lovely stay away or just a nice lunch. The setting is lovely and the views are superb.

What a gem! Fabulous hotel in a quiet residential area with fantastic views over the bay., Rooms were well appointed and had comfortable beds and lovely bedding. Well stocked minibar…. Reasonable prices too. Roll top bath and separate shower. Breakfast was tasty with good choice. The spa is great with times set aside for residents. Staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. There had been a bit of an issue with the boiler and hot water but staff went above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable as possible. We will definitely be returning.

We had a great three night stay here. The view from the room over the channel was vast , the room was comfortable and well equiped. All the staff were helpful and friendly and Zac on reception a great ambasador for the hotel. Parking was easy with charging points for elecric cars. Breakfast had a good choice with attentive but not overly attentive staff. We ate at the restuarant one nght and while not cheap was of a very good standard and we had a lovely evening meal. The weather wasnt great so we didnt get a chance to use the gardens (it was November after all) but with a bar, water features and a mix of seating and tables looked like a place one could happily while away a summer night in. Very pleased we chose to stay here.

2 night stay with friends. This was our third visit to the hotel. Cannot fault location & views. Proximity to the esplanade & pier. Sadly minor complaints regarding shower in our room had not been dealt with. Evening meal, nice enough although nothing special. Breakfast service on both mornings was very lacking. First morning eggs Benedict cold & very unappealing. No one asked what the problem was. Luckily toast available. Second morning we all received our meals at different times. Very disorganised. It’s not a cheap weekend and we expected better service.

Saturday evening meal from the A La Carte menu. The crayfish and apple cocktail was delicious, as was the duck breast main course and apple and blackberry crumble dessert. Very attentive and friendly service.

I have been visiting here on and off for years. I called in September 2023 to enquire about Christmas dinner, I wanted to book a table for 10. I spoke to a gentleman who said the kitchen hadn’t finalised the menu but asked me what table sitting would we like, took my contact details and promised someone would be in contact to book us in. Two weeks went by so called again and spoke to someone else she said exactly the same, that the kitchen hadn’t finalised the menus for Xmas day checked our contact details but promised we’d have a call to get booked in. I left it another week and called them back where for the 3rd time had the same response. I had to call back obviously and ask the question again where the gentleman I spoke to first off back in September to tell me that they were fully booked!?? Thank you Holm House for not doing what you promised we now have absolutely nowhere to go for Christmas dinner. …

The spa was absolutely incredible. We felt very well looked after and the facilities were great. We had the ELEMIS Spa Package with massage and facial, lunch and bubbles and it was great value for money. Our server Agnes was the bee's knees - brilliant at her job. The food was incredible! We recommend the seabass. The crayfish and cod starters were amazing too. Overall really pleased and will definitely be back! Thank you :)

Just enjoyed a lovely sparkling afternoon tea at Holm House. Delicious selection of teas, finger sandwiches, cakes and of course scone jam and clotted cream. It was all delicious and plenty of it! Our excellent waitress Agnes was very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. We shall return.
