Amber Lodge is run by an exceptionally welcoming and pleasant host, Rosie and her faithful companion Luki. If you're not a pet person, well, that's your loss. Coming in to an immaculately clean house, welcomed by Rosie and Luki is just a wonderfully comfortable feeling. Exactly what you want on a weekend break. The cottage atmosphere is quiet, functional and...

We spent just the one night at Amber Lodge B&B and would highly recommend this accommodation. Rosie welcomed us on our arrival showed us to our room and advised on local restaurants if we planned to eat out-the restaurants are a short walk from the accommodation-no need to drive. The room was a good size with ensuite, comfortable bed, comfy...

We stayed a night at Amber Lodge and enjoyed the experience. We arrived to a very warm welcome, and relaxed in our room until we headed out to dinner. The room was well appointed with tea/coffee, microwave, port and chocolates. We never received the wifi password, but also never asked and It wasn't in the compendium. Breakfast was timely, plentiful...

The moment we stepped in Pat made us feel totally at home with his warm hospitality. Winnie the dog was equally warm and friendly. Joy, Pat's 85 year old mother-in-law, who had come down from Brisbane to help him for the weekend was a real delight, what a gorgeous young lady. As for the hotel, we could not have chosen...

We were made to feel welcome and settled in before we even made it to our room. Wonderful. Walking distance to heaps of local galleries, cafes etc, and a quite remarkable bookcase of Australian historical literature to pour over as well.

We stayed here for two nights in May 2016 as we were visiting the area for a wedding. Rosie and Pat were lovely, nothing was too much trouble for Rosie during our stay. Comfortable rooms and beds. Beautiful B&B, would definitely stay here again if we visited the mountain again. Thanks!

We recently stayed at Amber Lodge for a week end getaway. Rosie took the greatest care of us. We were made to feel so welcome . Nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and contained everything we needed, including welcoming port and chocolates. Rosie cooked us a scrumptious breakfast each morning. Will definitely be going back.
