Nice comfortable room. Good advice from Kay as to where to find out about Black Stilts (it's a rare wading bird - not what you were thinking!). Mount Cook covered in cloud again but nice drive to visitor centre at base. Good meal at Poppies...More

--Location easy to find, easy walking distance to Omarama's amenities, and quiet.
--Hosts friendly and helpful; willing to share interesting and useful information about the area. As a bonus, the pets were also delightfully friendly, although I missed seeing the second cat.

We were doing the alps to ocean bike ride and stayed a night here. Great quiet location and friendly hosts. Couldn't fault it in any way. Only trick to look out for is that the street name is used currently for two cul de sacs...More
