Visited in 12 of January. We decided to sleep in Omarama on the road between The Hermitage to Dunedin because at Hermitage and in localities close to it we would not find accommodation. Ahuriri Motels Omarama was a wonderful choice for both the beautiful view from the room or from the small terrace in front of it and the very...

This was a little bit of an unknown choice. But we were pleased with what greeted us. A perfect little villa in a small quiet village with a great pub to dine at. The owners were pleasant and down to earth.

The hotel was a good stop between Lake tekapo and Te Anau for us. Our room was very clean but small. Check in was easy. We were able to do laundry at 4.00 wash and 4.00 dry. There were restaurants to eat at near by.

My daughter and her partner chose this small town for their wedding and for a small town it packs a powerful punch. In one word STUNNING.Initially our booking at the motel was not there and thanks to Teresa and her staff the problem was solved in our favour big time by the most efficient and friendly manner that my wife...

We were pleasantly surprised by this motel. We booked the 1 bedroom unit. It was very clean, spacious and quiet. The hosts were also very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend Ahuriri Motel and Omarama for an overnight stop off or a place for a family holiday.

This nice motel is located in a quiet place , only 1 hour drive from mount Cook. Plenty of day walks in the area around. And it is much chipper than those at mt. Cook. Good value for money. We stayed here on our way from Dunedin to Mt Cook. The facilities are all clean and accesible. The Kitchen fully...

A very clean and spacious room; welcoming and helpful host; amazing scenery and quite location. We were on our way from Queenstown and looking for a decent motel to recover from the previous one. We were glad to find such a lovely setting and comfy and nice motel. We would stay again if we visit this region.

Had a great one night stay here with my wife before meeting a local fishing guide. Nice and tidy rooms and excellent service. They even allowed us to leave our car there for a couple of night while we were away. Excellent!

I was only there for a night; comfy bed, good wifi, OK shower. Ticked all the boxes for me. On the main road coming in to Omarama from Oamaru, so nice and easy to find. The host bloke was friendly but not intrusive, and I was able to park my motorcycle right outside my room.
