We travelled over 2500klm throughout New Zealand's South Island, visiting 8 towns/locations and the Fox Glacier Lodge was one of the best. Quiet and the shower amenities are second to none - being individual - not in a multi shower room. Our Host Deb, was very pleasant and extremely helpful. The Park/lodge is so conveniently located in the village. A...

We stayed here just for one night (sadly) on our trip around South Island - it was a brilliant campsite. Really good pitches and the showers and toilets were very clean! A lovely spot to stay - highly recommend!

It has great facilities and its close to the main drag whilst being tucked away from the main traffic. Friendly service and gives good advice about good food. Its also within walking distance to the glow worms and all restaurants. Will go back there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this camper van park. It is ideally located for the restaurants, shops and excursion offices and very friendly. The facilities were excellent, very spacious and clean, and the laundry facilities were reasonably priced. Free wifi provided, unlike the major site further out of town. We had booked a 3 night stay in case the...

We stayed at a powered site for one night. Lady at the front counter was very friendly and this was one of the few places where we were able to choose a spot to park. We choose one with a picnic table. The facilities were clean. There was no play equipment for the kids but a large enough turning circle...

This caravan park is in an ideal location - less than a minutes walk to restaurants and shops (unlike the other major caravan park in town). We were given a warm welcome by the woman behind the front desk, and were even supplied with extra wifi codes when we accidentally booked a powered site instead of an unpowered. The sites...

Excellent welcome by the owner, who had lots of helpful advice. Good facilities. Perfect location for visiting the glacier. We were warned about the Keats but didn't see any. The owner was good enough to store our bikes tho to save them being pecked at!

Very nice location, tucked away from main road, quiet area, birds singing and keas walking around (and waking you up in the morning) but definitely not looking vicious or in any way intending top do damage. Not sure about the tent sights as it seemed to be only for campervans and a few rooms... Clean facilities, no charge for showers...

This campervan park is tucked away off the main street of Fox. It was one of the cheapest parks we stayed in all over NZ for a family of 5. The facilities were basic but clean & useful. This park is the closest to the main street shops/glacier hike office by far. From memory the other campervan park was quite...

The kitchen is ok but it,s the first campground in 8 months where there is no oven (there was maybe a microwave/oven). So, too bad for our planned pizza! Our tent has been attacked by the keas, which is totally not the owner's fault (stop feeding the keas please!), but she didn't look really sorry, saying it's never happened before......
