This Band B is only a 3 minute drive into Fox Glacier township, but its rural setting makes you feel as if you are a world away. We stayed in Lemon Cottage which is a cabin separate to the main house and we appreciated the extra privacy it enabled us to enjoy. The rural outlook from our cottage was wonderful...

We stayed here for one night. Karen the owner is very helpful and has a lot of good advice, especially about driving routes and times, given she used to drive a bus for a living. The B&B is mid range and comfortable with delicious breakfast and lovely views from some of the rooms. It's not too far from Lake Matheson...

We stayed here for two nights in December as we neared the end of our 6 1/2 weeks in New zealand. Lovely house and superb facilities with stunning scenery. Karen made us feel so welcome and was very kind and helpful in offering advice on where to visit, walks and eating out etc Toni cooked us a meal on the...

Karen, the host of Fox Glacier Mountainview B&B, welcomed us and showed us our room. It was a specious bedroom with bathroom and toilet as well as everything needed to make tea or coffee. We even had electric blankets which we were glad to turn on at night. There was also WIFI in the whole area. Karen told us during...

We experience a very pleasant stay with Karen in her beautiful B&B which features absolutely stunning views of the Glacier and towering snow covered mountain peaks above. If the weather is good, you must hike around Lake Mathison for the iconic reflection viewpoint back toward the glacier. Our host provided us with a plentiful and delicious breakfast .Fantastic place to...

We enjoyed our three nights here. The room (Camellia) was spacious and clean with a great view of the lovely garden. Sound travelled through the adjoining wall somewhat which also made us feel that we needed to be quite quiet. Karen provided many suggestions to enable us to make the best of our stay. The breakfasts are good, beautifully cooked...

Stayed for one night in the cottage opposite the main house... AMAZING! The hospitality, cleanliness and kindness was fantastic. Had the most beautiful back drop to wake up to too, couldn't have asked for a more comfortable stay! Thank you Karen, your hospitality was outstanding!

Was a very nice stay. Excellent place but most of all excellent hosts too. We were bombarded with very good info on the area and the hosts were genuinely interested in giving us a taste of the genuine life in such a small village. They prepared a fantastic dinner which beats all that we had in restaurants for the same...

Karen was a terrific hostess and our room was perfect for us . It was not attached to the main house, but a very short distance away. Karen and her Aunt made our visit very special. They offered a three course dinner with wine the night that we were there and the food was delicious. Karen was very accommodating to...
