Good value for money hostel with super friendly and enthusiastic staff. Very helpful when we had issues sorting out credit cards. Free breakfast which is always a bonus. Parking onsite which was good for us with a car. Quite a roomy kitchen with everything we needed in it, dining room perhaps a little small. The rooms were clean and beds...

Stayed two nights in a motel room - basic but clean with fridge and microwave. Parking close by and helpful and friendly staff. Free veg soup and breakfast a bonus. I dont understand any of the complaints especially at this price in this prime tourist location. Thankyou

I'll begin with a quote from my partner, "Irrespective of the lousy weather, the view from our room is the crappiest we've come across in Australia or New Zealand." At first glance as you drive into Cron Street, Sir Cedrics looks vaguely quaint and it was only £30 per person per night with a sort of en-suite facility. Our reception...

We spent one night in this motel on Christmas Day and it was terrible. There was a party until 2am and the bed was uncomfortable so we didn't sleep very well. We explained it to the person at the office but she didn't care. Avoid this place if you can.

Château Backpacker & Motels, Kaiser Franz Josef Is one of the best motels I have ever been! The owner is super friendly and more than helpful (he helped us to stay in one room even it was fully booked, moreover he helped me to arrange a call back home to my granny , big thanks for that!) ! The whole...

We stayed here backpacking for 3 nights. 2 nights in a 4 bed dorm which was really nice, they even have curtains on the beds! The double room was really nice set up although smelt a bit damp but once opened the windows was fine. You get free breakfast, soup, tea coffee and Internet. They also have a hot tub...

We stayed here for one night before moving to the hostel across the road. We stayed in a 6 person dorm. The rooms are dirty and full of bugs etc as the windows are always open - despite this the rooms still smell stale. Spider in my bunk- yay! The bathroom/toilet were dirty also and the shower was just awful....

Check in was quick and easy. Free breakfast and soup. Loads of space and facilities for backpackers to cook and store food. Movie room, spa and my favourite thing, a camp fire where you really get to meet and talk with others. Dorms were clean, as were bathrooms and toilets. Beds were more soft than usual but clean. Best thing,...

We stayed here for 1 night in a private double with shared bathroom cost $85. Why shouldn't you stay here? -room smelt of mould -dead spider on the floor -have to strip your bed and drop your sheets off at reception when you check out (sorry do I work here?) -unlimited wifi that didn't work in our room or anywhere...

We stayed in the "Motel" accommodation. The rooms are very basic, and as theyd left the door wide open on our arrival it was very cold. The carpet hadnt been hoovered and their wad a big hair in the shower cubicle. Clearly hadn't been cleaned. There were stains on the toilet floor. The fridge door rim was filthy and mouldy....
