Check in was quick and easy. Free breakfast and soup. Loads of space and facilities for backpackers to cook and store food. Movie room, spa and my favourite thing, a camp fire where you really get to meet and talk with others. Dorms were clean, as were bathrooms and toilets. Beds were more soft than usual but clean. Best thing,...

We stayed here for 1 night in a private double with shared bathroom cost $85. Why shouldn't you stay here? -room smelt of mould -dead spider on the floor -have to strip your bed and drop your sheets off at reception when you check out (sorry do I work here?) -unlimited wifi that didn't work in our room or anywhere...

We stayed in the "Motel" accommodation. The rooms are very basic, and as theyd left the door wide open on our arrival it was very cold. The carpet hadnt been hoovered and their wad a big hair in the shower cubicle. Clearly hadn't been cleaned. There were stains on the toilet floor. The fridge door rim was filthy and mouldy....

Good location, everything's easily accessible on foot from here and we enjoyed staying there. The staff really went out of their way to help and the whole place has a relaxed, friendly vibe. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very basic but still good to have.

Liked pod curtain structure, remained asleep even when others went to bed much later. Waffles for breakfast was a luxury (even a bowl of maple syrup!!) and the vegetable soup in the evening was a nice communal event. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed.

So, the good things about this place first. It's well located, serves free soup in the evening and free breakfast (myo waffles, toast, cereal etc) in the morning. However, I wouldn't stay here again because: - There wasn't enough hot water for 2 showers - it was running out towards the end of the first shower. - The rooms smell...

The double room was very very basic as were the restrooms. Staff is friendly & helpful. Kitchen and common sitting area is nice. I liked the fact that it is one of the few backpackers that has breakfast. You can walk everywhere in town quickly.

We paid almost $100 to stay one night. The bedding was dirty. I slept on top in my sleeping bag. They claim free breakfast which is some bulk containers of non descript cereal. I thought maybe a piece of fruit or something but no. In comparison to other places we stayed in the same price point in new zealand I...

Had a twin ensure room. Smelled a bit funky and wasn't exactly plush, but she t does the job and you'll get a sleep, chance to make tea in your room and hot shower. Don't come here for a hotel experience but if you're here for the mountains, it's ideal.

The hostel is central to the town but that's about the best thing I can say about it. I was in a private room for one night, which had a horrible smell and a heater which had been left on so the room was boiling. It also overlooked the car park so it wasn't very private. The bathroom was basic...
