Wonderful accommodation in a fantastic setting. Room was spacious, contained all the amenities we required and offered privacy from other cabins. Onsite bar/restaurant was lovely and very warm and cost on quite a cool evening. Its just a shame we only had one night here, we would definitely stay again.

We stayed here 2 nights in September. It is a charming resort with accommodation for all sorts - campervaners, hostellites, self-contained cabins. We opted for the self contained cabins with en suite bathrooms and kitchenette and small living area. It was charming enough but the heater for the room took a while to take effect. However, the water heater did...

By far our favourite site from our camper holiday. The bush surroundings & little bush walk to the reception & restaurant was a really cool feature. Very handy having the restaurant/bar onsite as we had an early sleeping baby so it meant we didn't have to take him in the buggy too far. Beautiful fires inside & out the restaurant....

Stayed in the hostel part of the establishment. The rooms were reasonable, bathroom clean but very, very hot showers! The pizza night offered every other night was a great option, and the backpacker menu at the restaurant was also good, offering simple, lower priced meals for those on a budget. Didn't always have the best service from the staff but...

We stayed in a one bedroom tree lodge for three nights, fantastically located in the rainforest. It warmed up quickly, despite the cold. Having a third bed in the room meant it was tight on space. Also had to ask for bed sheets to be changed as we discovered hairs! Breakfast was included but you had to order the night...

This place serves a lot of backpackers and younger travelers, but they are harmless, so families do not need to avoid. There is a very nice restaurant on the property with a big fireplace and nice bar area. Very relaxing after a day of hiking. Rooms are Spartan, not huge but not small, and clean with a small kitchen area....

I cannot give this place enough praise for the wonderful 3 nights that we stayed here. We were in one of the Tree Huts. It is joined onto another room which I wasn't expecting, however, due to the time of year, the one next to us was empty giving us real privacy. The room is excellent. Comfy bed, very well...

Wow!!! This has to be my most favourite place we have stayed since being in Nz It really is a rainforest retreat!! We booked one of the tree houses which is most definitely worth the little extra! It is its own stand alone little log cabin! Perfect service from reception, the lady gave us all the info we needed to...

Arriving after a long drive the shelter from and welcome to the Resort was great - we had a spacious well resourced lodge for the 4 of us - with good kitchen, washing and showering arrangements. The staff at the bar and restaurant were young, keen and helpful and the place itself was a mecca of younger thrill seeking outdoor...

I stayed in a 4 bed en-suite dorm. This had a TV, tea and coffee making facilities, comfy pillows and duvets - it felt more like a hotel room. This is by far one of the nicest budget accommodations in New Zealand. Facilities are really good, staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean and comfortable....
