I was in Macon to attend a conference and decided to try the Magnuson because of the high ratings of others. I was quite pleasantly surprised. The hotel is located with excellent access to the interstate. The staff there is awesome. Ronnie, Bridgette, Tomeka ans Claricia made our stay so pleasant. Many of the others at the conference were staying... More

Fantastic bed and so comfortable! The room was very spacious and quiet. The only criticism was the coffee at both breakfast and in the room was awful, so weak and tasteless. Breakfast food however was very nice and the staff were lovely. Thank you

Not great shakes, but we made it work. The first room smelled like smoke so we asked to be moved. They accommodated us by moving us to the top floor. The smoke smell was gone, but there were noises from the roof. Air conditioners? Not sure. The second room made do and we were able to stay the night. The... More

From the check in I was pleased with warm and friendly service, nice ambiance, comfortable bed and room setting, very reasonable price, very clean, complimentary breakfast, free wifi, free parking. What more to ask for.

We will definitely stay here again! Friendly staff and the cleanliness of the rooms as well as the food at the breakfast bar met all of our expectations. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms! AC works great! The surrounding area is safe with a local restaurant close by. The parking lot is well lit and the pool was very nice.

The housekeeping was very unprofessional only cleaning our room once while during our stay. We left several times allowing them to clean the room and still came back to a dirty room. The breakfast was good but need a bigger variety of food to choose from. It would be very nice if this hotel can invest into getting room service,... More

Clean, comfortable, pet-friendly (but $25 extra). Good value for dog owners if you're willing to pay the extra $25 or if they will waive it. Pool is clean and inviting, free breakfast adequate, staff friendly and accommodating. There is an attached one-story building that is boarded up and rather unsightly. Not sure why it hasn't simply been demolished.

Easy access to i-75, and lots of places to eat and gas up are near by. Getting to the hotel is a little confusing as you have to go thru a large strip mall parking lot to find it. Kinda confusing. The room itself was clean, but could have used an update. The breakfast area needs air conditioning as it... More

On our way to FL, booked on Hotels .com, for a decent rate. They had our extra pillows and towels we requested, on our bed. Nice room, hard bed. Very difficult to find the entrance from I-75, and parking lit didn't seem real secure. Don't think we'll stay here again.

My family and I decided to stay at the Magnuson Hotel on our way to Florida. At a first glance the hotel looks pretty decent; but when you enter the hotel it is a much different story. There were huge flying roaches in our room, the building and elevator smelled like marijuana, and the breakfast was inedible. I will never... More
