Great location near University of Utah medical complex. Pleasant staff, nice breakfast, a few notches above run of the mill motel breakfasts. Ample amenities including convenient free parking, computers in lobby, exercise room with lots of high end machines.

I love this hotel. It is in a great location, beautiful views, excellent breakfast. In the afternoon, they even have a hot drink bar. Utah is doing things right and the U Guesthouse is a perfect example. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting SLC, not just for U Utah business. I plan to return someday and enjoy my... So the hotel is nice and the rooms are well equipped and I would stay in them again. Nothing to complain. HOWEVER there is one huge complaint I have and this is about the breakfast. How on earth can it be that every single thing at breakfast is served on throwaway cups, cutlery and plates? I just could not believe... More

Karina V, Thank you for your feedback. I am glad that overall your hotel stay was satisfactory. I would like to address your comments regarding our breakfast. The Guest House provides a complimentary hot breakfast to all our guests. This breakfast has grown from a cold continental many years ago, into a buffet style hot and cold breakfast. As we... More

Decent facilities, clean room, friendly staff, and then excellent free breakfast! It is located in the campus of University of Utah providing silent and beautiful atmosphere. We really enjoyed our days there.

Hotel was great! The water pressure on the shower is not that great, but other than that it was a great stay. There is a great complementary breakfast which was delicious. Definitely recommend those to stay here if you are in Salt Lake City.

The hotel itself is about what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Good service, nice room, clean, quiet. The breakfast was free for guests and superior in quality. Lots of choices with fresh pancakes, sausage, eggs, cereal, fruit, bagels, toast, juices, milk, etc.

I stayed for a conference taking place downtown (salt palace convention center). The room was great, large bed, good lights. There is breakfast everyday until quite late in the afternoon where most hotels cut breakfast by 9am. It is minutes walking from the red-line TRAX which goes downtown. There is a train every 15 minutes and cost $2.5. So despite... More

A 5 Star Hotel & Conference Facility. What a surprise to find this place !! It's away from Downtown Salt Lake. The staff goes an extra 2 miles to insure that your stay whether it's Business or Pleasure is a success. We appreciated the peacefulness of the area & the facility.
