Great location. East side of Pinnacles National Park. Park rangers and Royal Elk concessionaire staff share the Visitor Center /Camp Store. Both staff are very cordial and helpful. We just spent the last two weeks there in a travel trailer. The 30 amp electrical system is three or four years old and very dependable. Most site drain well in heavy...

Great place to be away from it all, no internet ,no cell reception but nice clean spacious sites with water and electrical hook ups. There is a swimming pool that makes the stay even better. Great hikes to vistas and caves on both side of the N.P but no road connects bothe ends and you have to drive around the...

Stayed at Pinnacles Campground over Easter weekend 2015. We stayed in site 45 which enjoyed lovely afternoon shade from the enormous valley oak. All of the spots along this loop have some sort of shade, with the most being in sites 28-32, though the heat wasn't much of an issue this early in the season. The wildflowers were in full...

The campground at Pinnacles National Monument was a private affair, with a pool, big camp store, and campsites with electricity. Now that it is a national park, many of those things are too "deluxe" for what most National Parks offer, but the campground hasn't changed. The pool is still a huge attraction, and RVs are more likely to stay where...

My husband rock climbs here and has been raving about it for some time. We are avid tent campers and decided to stop here in route to see family. I am so glad we did. A National Park with a beautiful swimming pool? Yes. Plus a grassy area surrounding the pool to relax. Pool closes at 6 pm. Nice size...

Just ended a great weekend at The Pinnacles. We stayed in site #93 at the park campground. The RV sites are spacious so it does not feel like the RVs are on top of each other or packed in like sardines. The hookups are electric only but there are plenty of water spigots to fill jugs. This is one of...

This is a nice campground for folks that like to hike and see nature. It gets hot hot hot there in the summer, so if you can swing it go in the spring when stuff is blooming and beautiful and the caves are accessible. This is OUTDOOR camping, so you will get lots of bugs and pests (raccoon, lizards, quail,...

This campground was thoughtfully designed and well maintained and managed! Ample restrooms, group and individual sites, as well as rv sites too. No generators allowed, but that keeps things nice and quiet. Easy access to trailheads and there is a store and a pool on site. The staff is very friendly. Book early and expect a crowd on the weekends....

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Pinnacles. We stayed in the RV loop where the sites are spread out nicely and each site has electrical hookups. The weather was perfect. We hiked and watched the rock climbers. Even saw condors soaring high up on the ridge tops! We arrived in the early afternoon and had no problems checking in. However,...

You have to get an account with Recreation.gov to book at Pinnacles. It is really the only place to stay if you are going to hike multiple days. It's not too bad during the week in the early Spring. Before Easter there was no problem on the weekend, either. It appears to be extremely family friendly--if I had small children...
