The hosts Mary and Bob made this B&B stand out as one of the best experiences of our visit to the Islands. We stayed there in October 2010 while visiting the Big Island and had an amazing stay. Mary's breakfasts were delicious, with local fruits hand-picked in their own garden, and the geckos that join the action are unforgettable. Overlooking...

My husband and two teenage boys stayed in the Palm room. What a perfect location to see the island. It was so easy to drive up and have our rooms right in front of us with a large common area for all three rooms. Breakfast was up on their deck - overlooking green and ocean! YOu cannot see the beach...

We stayed here 2 nights and it was lovely. Mary and Bob, our hosts, are delightful, and so eager to please. Their recommendations on local eateries were all helpful. Mary's breakfasts on the beautiful deck were a highlight. We had our own private lanai and the view of sunset over the ocean was spectacular. Our room was small and simple,...

My wife and I spent 2 delightful nights at this B and B. First, location is wonderful - scenic, rural residential area 10 minutes south of many restaurants/shops in the Captain Cook area, with private lanai overlooking lush yard and ocean in background. The B and B is a 5 minute-drive from some of the best snorkeling on the Big...

My wife and I spent four nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Bob and Mary are extremely gracious hosts. We typically had plans to be out and going very early each morning (before the scheduled breakfast) so Mary would get up early and pack us a breakfast to go; egg sandwiches, fruit, thermos of coffee.. perfect. Also I can't...

We stayed at Bob and Mary's B and B for 9 nights. We found the B and B on Travelocity and took a leap of faith after checking out their Hale Ho'ola website. The B and B was even better in real time than on the website. Mary and Bob were so gracious..Breakfasts were fabulous gourmet creations with loads of...

My husband and I just returned home from our stay at Hale Ho'ola. The accomodations are not deluxe, but very nice, and everything we needed. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the private lanai was spacious enough for us and our grown children to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Each lanai has a small refrigerator for...
