We stayed at Bob and Mary's B and B for 9 nights. We found the B and B on Travelocity and took a leap of faith after checking out their Hale Ho'ola website. The B and B was even better in real time than on the website. Mary and Bob were so gracious..Breakfasts were fabulous gourmet creations with loads of...

My husband and I just returned home from our stay at Hale Ho'ola. The accomodations are not deluxe, but very nice, and everything we needed. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the private lanai was spacious enough for us and our grown children to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Each lanai has a small refrigerator for...

We really enjoyed our stay in the Plumeria Suite at Hale Ho'ola in the first week of May. The rooms are comfortable and elegantly decorated and Bob and Mary are wonderful hosts. They really made us feel like family and gave great suggestions on beaches, restaurants and everything. The breakfasts in the deck overlooking the ocean were delicious. Unfortunately, the...

Great breakfasts and great hospitality. Bob and Mary had excellent advice on getting around the island and which sights to see based on our interests. It was a wonderful way to spend a week on the Big Island!

We had a great time at the Hale Ho'ola. The room was bright and nice. Bob and Mary offered great advice on snorkeling and other activities. We were worried it might be far from the airport in Kona, since we had an early flight, but it worked out just fine. Would stay here again!

After some time staying in Kona, we were looking forward to a nice relaxing place a bit further south. The room we had booked was really tastefully decorated and comfortable. Bob realized it may be a bit small for our family and offered us a side room for our teenage son who was more than happy to get away from...

Bob and Mary were wonderful hosts. Mary's breakfasts are the best on the island. They provided lots of tips about what to see and where to find the best places to eat - they were perfect on all counts.

Hale Ho'ola is exactly what we needed for the last two nights of our around-the-island week-long vacation. Bob and Mary were very pleasant hosts, and we enjoyed their company at breakfast every morning (along with the geckos :) We had the smallest of the three rooms situated around a common lounge area, but it was clean and comfortable with a...

The special attention Bob and Mary give their guests is difficult to describe. I can confidently say it is better than many of us get when visiting our own relatives. We arrived in the middle of high season with no preparation whatsoever. Bob and Mary went out of their way to ensure we found sites and activities that we would...
