The Travel Lodge in Crescent City, CA. may look plain Jane to some, but it is actually a great place to stay a night or two. The owners are super nice, the room though smallish is very clean and the maid a sweetheart of a young lady. Plus you can't beat the price!

The lady on the frontdesk was very nice, and the room where I stayes in was clean and good equiped. The only disadventage was that the window was in the direction of the Highway and Tacobell Drive-Trough/ MC Donalds etc., so it was loud and I didn't feel like open the curtains because everybody would have been able to watch...

Our room was small, but clean, with the exception of a large ugly stain in the carpet. The bathroom was even tinier, with a heat lamp light that you couldn't...

Only one working electrical plug in. They need to replace outlet. Chargers would not work, too loose. Asked to have them fix it and they moved light plug from top to bottom instead.

Outdated, needs remodeling. Check in was smooth, but English was very broken. Not a bad cheap room. Lots of road noise, but with a fan very manageable. Electrical needs updating my charger fell out of the worn out plug in and exhaust fan sounds like it is taking off for flight.

Was supposed to have a room down and out and mgr/owner told me it would be another 10.00 for down and out room (It cost more for ADA compliance).

Checking in/out was easy. No air conditioning as with the case of most hotels here. Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean.
