The campgrounds were very clean. But the rv area was all crushed stone. The sites were so tight I couldn't open my canopy. On the upside it was very clean, showers were nice and the laundry worked. Also it is a good location to reach RMNP as long as your not expecting a "camping" experience.

my wife and I stayed at this KOA with a rented RV from Cruise America. This was our first adventure camping with an RV so it was nice that the camp staff assist you with backing into the parking stall as standard operating procedure. The staff is new to operating a camp as they justboughtrhe place early this year, but... More

Nice place, dusty, and very tight spaces. We stayed for about a week, it's close to Rocky Mountain National Park and all the services and stores you'll need. The spaces are as small as they come, just enough for your RV, Vehicle, Table, Chairs. Wifi can get rather slow, and can also stop.

We stayed in the tent area. VERY clean bathrooms with private showers. Privacy fences between sites. A little close to the road construction but it served its purpose. Staff were really helpful and pleasant.

Yes, some of the RV spaces are rather close together, but NOT too close as some reviewers said. We had plenty of room and clearance for our slide out. And our space had a picnic table on a deck in front of the trailer in the trees. It was really pretty. If you are in a tent or a cabin... More

This facility is owned & operated by great people! They truly care about their guests. The facility is always clean & well kept. We have been traveling to Estes Park for about 10 years & book here every time. We usually rent a cabin. Their extra activities options are well priced. We LOVE the all you can eat panckaes every... We decided to stay here on a Saturday night, because it was one of the only available camping spots in Estes on such short notice. We got a tent spot which was 36$. The spots are okay, room for one car and a smaller tent with a shaded picnic table and a fire pit. The bathrooms are pretty nice and... More

Yes it's not a hotel. But for the reason we come to the Rockies , KOA is a perfect place to stay. The owners and guests are friendly clean and polite. Internet was a little spotty, not a big deal, except for the rainy day we stayed home. But the views are fantastic. The location and setting is perfect.

I stayed at the Estes Park KOA for four nights. I rented a cabin with a double bed and bunk beds. I was happy I had a cabin when I arrived because there was a mountain thunderstorm blowing through the area and having a dry cabin to go to was a relief! This was my first experience at a KOA.... We stayed for two nights in the Cozy Cabin. It was perfect size for the two of us! We liked bringing our own sheets for comfort. The cabin (K8) was clean and in a great location to the bathrooms. The bathrooms were very clean for a campground (mainly the communal ones, not the individual ones). The campground is in a... More
