We spent two weekend nights at the Hotel Providence at the end of June. We had a room on the second floor annex (a bit difficult to get to from the main elevator in the lobby) that was small and had a view of a brick wall, but was otherwise comfortable. The room was clean and we had a relatively...

The front desk is happy to honor your request whenever possible. I'm glad you were pleased with our valet services and were able to retrieve your vehicle in a timely manner. Thank...

We stay in Providence frequently but at other 5 star hotels. A dear friends wedding was at this one so we thought we would give it a try. The rates are extremely reasonable and the staff was courteous. Room service was prompt as well as the valet. All went well with the exception of the pan handlers just outside the...

This hotel was so beautiful & comfortable! It's located downtown Providence - an easy in / out for city and surrounding locations. The hotel design & rooms are pretty & quite comfortable. Absolutely pristine. Staff was super accommodating PROS: Hotel design - comfort - friendly staff CONS: Valet parking pricey & rooms pricey

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for the review. We think our location is ideal, as well! We love being in the center of the thriving Arts & Theater district (and only a block from the larger sporting/ music venues). Thank you for your kind words regarding your accommodations and especially your remarks about our staff. I can tell them every...

I used my free night to stay at this hotel to visit our son who goes to Johnson & Wales University and is staying in Providence for the summer, so the rate was fairly reasonable for Providence. The central city location is perfect and close to everything. Valet attendant was very attentive and helpful. There is a public parking lot...

The Hotel Providence is a quaint hotel with a sweet and attentive staff. I'm not sure of all of the rooms but we were upgraded to a huge suite that overlooked Westminster on the corner with a full size kitchen and large bathroom. The room was fabulous, traditional. This is an old school hotel with old school manners and that's...

I stayed at the Hotel Providence over Easter Weekend this year. I snagged a great rate. The hotel is nice. The lobby feels very traditional. Service was good, check in was easy, valet was easy. Nice. But nothing about the hotel feels boutique. It's too big, first of all, to try to fit itself into that category. I stayed in...

First, be aware there is only valet parking ($28). The room was almost $200, was small and had a queen bed. The bed however was very comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was also very pleasant and helpful. As this is an older building sound control was not taken into account and we heard the conversations ( until...

I recently returned from a short trip to Providence and the Hotel Providence. I stayed in Room 402, a corner room, facing Grace Cathedral and Westminster Street. The Carillons and church bells chime on the half hour and hour from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. so they should not disturb your sleep or your stay. This was my first stay...

Our room on the 7th floor was well appointed, had all the wonderful amenities you need to end or start your day. The bed was extremely comfortable and we both had a great nights rest. The hotel is in a perfect location, close to Atwell Ave (Little Italy or Rhode Island) which was about 1/2 mile away. I would recommend...

Hotel was nice, however, we had to move rooms due to a large amount of water in the carpet. The replacement room had AC problems on a 90 degree day. Surrounding area was a bit seedy. For the price, I will find a different hotel next time.
