About the only reason to stay in this area would be if you had some business in the Williams Centre, which was the case here.

The hotel did not provide services promised upon reservation. Customer service was terrible, argumentative and did nothing to correct the problems. Not the customer service you would expect from a Marriott Hotel, as such I would avoid this hotel.More

Most likely is a credit card hold from incidentals (which is held regardless if you use them as the CC polices state if you read the fine print at check in) .....credit card processors and card companies (not the hotel....they authorize the processors ensure its there if needed) "hold" usually $40 ish a night which is released usually 48-72 hours after checkout. They reserve the right to hold it longer especially on debt cards. I travel all the time and this is a common practice. Call your bank if it does not drop off.
