Sam Hughes Inn was our base for an extended visit to Tucson and we were delighted to discover such a charming and comfortable oasis in a peaceful setting, very handy for the University. It felt like home but with much better breakfasts, which were deliciously different every day, and we enjoyed meeting some fascinating and descriminating fellow guests.

My partner and I recently stayed at the Sam Hughes Inn and it was a very pleasant experience. We stayed in the Tombstone Room which is in a seperate building out in the garden, the room had everything you need, it was spotless and fresh towels were provided daily. The garden is very pleasant with many shaded areas, it is...

A very pleasant place to stay, with a quiet secluded garden. We were looked after very well by Sue her breakfasts kept you going all day. The inn keeper was a mine of information on things to do during our stay and always went out of her way to ensure that guests were well catered for.I would recommend the inn to...

During my 10 days at the Sam Hughes Inn I was able to determine that it is very well run indeed. The breakfasts consisted of a bounty of good food, and the guests I met at breakfast were quite interesting people. The ability to share this time with the other guests is a pleasure, especially when compared to the relative...

We spent two nights at the Sam Hughes Inn Bed and Breakfast in the Santa Fe Room. The large room with a huge four-poster bed and French doors opening onto a courtyard provided a quiet relaxing environment. Breakfasts were healthy and delicious. The innkeeper was accommodating and appropriately attentive. The private bathroom featured spa robes, high-quality toiletries, and excellent water...

Wonderful B&B as close to the University of Arizona as you can get without being enrolled. Comfortable rooms, innovative breakfasts, a wonderful, peaceful, desert-themed courtyard to hang out and read in or work on your tan, along with a charming hostess, make this a great place to stay in Tucson. It's also within walking distance to several restaurants. I'm sorry...

We just returned from a 3 day visit at the Sam Hughes Inn and truly wish we could have stayed longer. The lovely historic 1931 Spanish-style home has four available rooms (check the great website!) that are comfortably and beautifully furnished in southwestern and Mexican decor. The public rooms (one with free Internet, another with TV) are also very attractive,...

The Sam Hughes Inn is a jewel. The Inn is tucked away on a quiet side street near the U of A. The U of A was within easy walking distance. The Inn has a lovely courtyard, and is decorated throughout with Southwestern art and furniture. I stayed in the smallest room, the Pima Room -- which was perfect for...

My wife and I had a gift certificate for a night's stay in a bed & breakfast. We were planning on going to Tucson to watch the Colorado Rockies, and thought this would be a great time to use this gift certificate. My wife got onto the internet and stumbled across the Sam Hughes B & B in Tucson. It...

I recently stayed 6 nights at San Hughes B&B on a visit from Australia and thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The room was very spacious with good light and fresh air and the hospitality was excellent. The location is also excellent, right next to the University of Arizona and centre of town. And a nice feature of staying at a...
