I love staying at the Casitas any time of year...and we have enjoyed all four seasons there . Our last visit during Nov 2018 consisted of a mini-reunion with high school friends. Loved lounging on our Desert Sun patio all afternoon, making dinners in the full-size kitchen, and

This was my second visit to Smokey Springs Ranch, and it was (if possible) even more wonderful than the first! We had intended to take drives to a few local places, but we loved our casita so much we just stayed put for the whole four days - just sitting on the veranda, watching

Our extended family stayed here over winter vacation and had a wonderful time. We had two casitas: Storm Catcher and Rain Dancer. Storm Catcher easily accommodated a family of four, while Rain Dancer was good for two people. We really enjoyed the peacefulness that comes with

Please explain a “spool” is it Hot?
A spool is a spa with a sunning Lagoon. The stunning Lagoon or shallow area is about 18 inches deep. And the deep end has seats all around the perimeter that are set at different heights but put the water depth around shoulder height. We keep our spool heated in the winter on low which is about 85° and it's very easy to turn up to a hundred and two degrees if you would like it to be warmer.

A spool is smaller than a pool but larger than a spa. It is warm, and there are some jets.

Looking forward to our visit this weekend!
"We walked around and looked at the other casitas, and they all look excellent."
"Decide on the size needed; these casitas are all perfect for 2 people and some have capacity for a larger group."
"I believe Harvest Wind is one of the biggest and most private of the casitas."
"Storm Catcher of course"
"Any of The Casitas is a good choice"
