I do not have any children, so I am not the best person to ask. The resort, however, has several pools & a water slide for their enjoyment. Tucson does offer several museums.

The pools are heated. In fact many people were doing laps at workout center when I visited while it was snowing! There is a mineral pool which is not heated.
