There is valet and self parking available at the hotel provided by the hotel. Both are at a cost of $24 plus tax. These options come with in and out privileges, which most (if not all) other options do not provide. The hotel provides most parking in its attached garage but also requires the use of another lot for weekends and special events. This $24 parking fee is on the low side of the pricing scale in the San Antonio market.
I rented a car, which is the most cost-effective way if you want to explore the city and beyond. At the time of my rental, car daily rate was even cheaper than taxi or Uber one-way fare.
